Mays POV

"May, you don't have to do this" my mom said while moving a box behind me

"But, I want to" I said helping her put the boxes in the living room

"I'm fine here, go out and have some fun" she said walking into the new kitchen

"Are you sure?" I asked looking at all the boxes piled in the living room.

"Yes, I'm sure"

I put on some shoes and grabbed my phone about to leave when I saw something glittering in one of the boxes, I walked toward it to see it was a necklace that my best friend gave to me before I left to leave for California. I put on the necklace and finally walked out the door.

It took me about 10 minutes to walk to the streets of L.A, there were so many car's on the street trying to get to different places. The sidewalks were not as crowded as in New York were I used to live, the weather was so much warmer and there was no snow which is great.

I once again started to walk since I stopped to see the beautiful street's of L.A when

BOOM!!

"I'm so sorry" I heard a boy say

"It's ok, I'm fine" I said rubbing my forehead

I look up a little to see that the boy had his hand out to help me up so obviously I'm going to take it, he pulled me up so I was staring into his beautiful green eyes.
