Introduction

Neville Longbottom was as far as you could get from being a "cool kid". 

Luna Lovegood was an odd duckling who most people called "Looney" for obvious reasons.

Ginny Weasley was the girl everyone wanted to be friends with but didn't have the courage to.

Luna's POV

"Pesky Nargals." I said as I walked down the halls of Hogwarts. I was going to Divination, that class is interesting.

I was walking in when a girl bumped into me and my books fell.

"I'm sorry!" The girl said "Are you alright?"

"I'm good, it's just those Nargals."

She gave me a funny look," The what? I'm Ginny by the way! Ginny Weasley."

I smiled, "I'm Luna Lovegood! Are you a fourth  year to?" 

"Yep! Are you going to Divination? I am. Terwaleny is sure odd. What house are you in?"

She asks a lot of questions! "Yup. Divination! I'm in Ravenclaw. You're a Gryffindor right?"

"Gryffindor along with the rest of my brothers!" She said, and we walked in together.

Ginny's POV

A new friend! A girl for once.

She's a little odd but she seems nice enough!

We are walking out of Divination together when a boy named Neville stops us.

"Are you Ginny, and Luna? I just wanted to let you know that Harry Potter is starting a special club, and he was wondering if you want to join? I'm Neville by the way." 

"Yep I'm Ginny!" I said. 

"Oh! So your Ron's sister! He talks about you a lot!"

Neville's POV

"I'm Neville Longbottom! I live with my grandma. The reasons behind that are kind of private." I said, regretting it immediately.

"Luna, Luna Lovegood! Would you like the newest edition of the Quibbler? It's free if you get it from me!"

"Sure! Does it have anything on foreign plants?" I say.

"Do you like plants? I'm Ginny."

"Yeah! Plants are my favorite!"

I knew we would be good friends.
