I was shocked at what I saw.

"SURPRISE!!!" Brian, his wife Kate, and his daughter Samantha yelled.

We stepped inside and I put my bags down and covered my mouth. They had thrown a small family party for my arrival. There was a banner that said 'welcome home Brook' and I could see a cake on the kitchen table barely visible around the corner.

"Oh my god! You guys did this all for me?" I asked, still in shock.

"You bet we did! Welcome home sweetheart, would you like to pick out your room?" Kate asked me

"Yeah, that sounds nice" I smiled

"There's only two options,  the guest room and the attic." She said

"Alright" I smiled.

We walked upstairs to the first room which was right next to Samantha's room. It was decent sized and had a walk in closet, a window, a TV mounted to the wall.

"Do you like it?" Brian asked

"Yeah its nice, I think I still want to see the attic before I make a decision though" I said

"I have a feeling you'll like the attic more, it suits for style" he chuckled.

we walked up a small flight of stairs to a door. He opened the door and revealed a surprisingly big attic space. There was a lot of shelving and a walk in closet. It was beautiful.

"I love it" I smiled

"I had a feeling you would. For tonight you'll have to sleep in the guest room since you don't have a bed in here yet, but we'll take care of that tomorrow." He said

"Thanks so much Brian" I said

"You're welcome Brook" he said

He hugged me and I sat in the guest room. Samantha came in a few minutes later, she's a year younger than me.

"Hey Brook" he smiled

"Hey Sammy" I said

"Dad told me you like Ethan" she smiled

"Yeah, he's my favorite youtuber. I'm going to PAX this year so I can meet him again. Hopefully I won't choke up as bad as I did last time" I chuckled

"I wish I could meet him, he's so funny" she said

"Not to mention cute as hell" I added

"Eh, I guess. He's not my type. I have my eyes on markimoo" she said

"He's pretty cute I guess, I've never really looked at mark like that" I said

"Good, he's mine" she chuckled

"Alright that's fair, just stay away from Ethan" I let out a tiny giggle

"Deal" she smiled

We sat there for hours just talking about youtube.

"Hey Sammy?" I asked

"Yeah?" She said

"Wanna go to PAX with me?" I asked

She just started flipping out and screaming like crazy

"I'll take that as a yes" I said in between laughs

Brian barged in and looked really confused

"What's wrong? Why is there screaming?" He asked

"BROOK JUST ASKED ME TO GO TO PAX WITH HER!! CAN I GO? PLEASE DAD CAN I??" Sammy yelled

"I suppose, Brook, just make sure to keep her safe. When is PAX?" He asked

"March 10th-March 12th. It's in Boston. I already have my ticket bought and I'll buy Sammy's tonight and get passes for us and everything. I still have to book a room at an apartment complex and buy the plane tickets. We'd be flying out March 8th." I told him

"Alright I guess, I trust you to behave." He said

"Of course" I said

"Okay, sleep tight girls, you have school tomorrow. Brook would you like me to drive you in the mornings or take the bus? I leave at 5:30 and get there at 6." He asked

"I'll ride with you, I'll just set my alarm a half hour earlier." I said

"Alright, night girls. Love you" he said

"Love you too" Sammy and I said in unison

We stayed up until 10:45 and then Sammy went back to her room to sleep. I stayed up until 11. I lied to Brian about my alarm, I would have to wake up at 3:30 in order to be ready, but I doubt he'd really care. I don't need that much sleep anyways. 4 1/2 hours is enough for me. I layed in bed and actually slept pretty well knowing I didn't have to go back home. This is home now. I can be happy here. I can't wait for Brian to adopt me and send them to prison. Then I'd really be safe. I had a dream that chuck had kidnapped me and locked me in a room. He tied me to a chair and started beating me senseless. He was screaming at me telling me it was all my fault. i woke up in a pool of sweat. I checked the time. three twenty three. i turned of my alarm and went to the basement and took a shower, i didn't want to wake anyone. once i was done i picked out a long sleeve cgp shirt i ordered of of redbubble, it had a picture of Ethan in a flower crown. i matched with a pair of skinny jeans and black converse. i snuck into the kitchen and grabbed a donut to eat for breakfast. i went back upstairs and rewatched some of Ethan's older videos. around 5 Brian came in to make sure i was up. we left for school and brian had mentioned that he had gotten a caseworker to review my life with my mother and talk about the abuse, he had also mentioned he had to tell me something when we got home. school went by quickly. Brian drove us home and had kate decorate the house for a party. when i walked in there was a banner that said welcome to the family. i turned to Brian and he just nodded.

"you guys adopted me?" i asked

"not yet, once we go to court and your mother and chuck go to prison, the case worker said we could become your legal gaurdians." he smiled

i gave them all a hug and then Brian took me to get my furniture for my room. once everything was delivered, i started to unpack. i was going to like it here.

The next week passed quickly and before i know it, it was march 7th. I was doing some last minute packing when Brian came in. he went over some basic ground rules like no drinking or doing drugs, no parties, no sex even though we're both over the age of consent. And lastly and the most important rule, keep both of his little girls safe. I smiled at the thought of being his little girl, he was like a second dad to me. He told me to get some sleep and that we had to wake up around 5 so we could leave at 6. I already knew I'd be waking up at 3:45. I was able to rent out a small apartment since I hated hotels. It was in pretty quiet little area. It had 3 floors and 5 rooms on each. I had gotten Sammy and I passes to meet Ethan, Mark, Jack, Pewds, and a few other youtubers. I finally fell asleep around 11:30. I'd probably try to sleep on the plane so I wouldn't be exhausted.
