*One moon later*
Sunkits Pov:
Ooakkit, Echokit, and I all sat beside the fresh kill pile all wondering what to pick out for this morning breakfast. "What about that thrush?" Asked Oakkit "Lets save that for the bigger cats, they'll be more hungry than us.." Echokit explained "What about that vole? We can all share?" I said pointing to it with my tail "Yeah!" Oakkit exclaimed grabbing it and going toward the nursery to share in near the entrance. We all settled down and I was about to eat the first bite of my share when a loud yowl sounded from inside the nursery where Skyfeather and Queitstream lay. My siblings and I nearly jumped out of our fur when Skyfeather came racing out and raced into the medicine cat den and came out a moment later with Berryleaf and they bounded over into the nursery. Now there were warriors and apprentices coming out of their dens coming to see what's the matter. Skyfeather stepped out of the nursery and nudged us away from the entrance and wrapped her tail around us while we sat and waited to see what was happening "What's wrong, Skyfeather?" Oakkit asked "Quietstream is kitting, we will have new friends to sleep with tonight" Skyfeather happily meowed "Yay" Echokit mewled "I wonder how many" I asked. We waited for awhile, eventually Skyfeather let us go, our hunger forgotten and we were wrestling. A rustle was heard as the medicine cat stepped out of the nursery "Three kits" She yowled "A beautiful white she kit, a pretty red and white she kit and a handsome tortoiseshell tom with a red tail" Berryleaf yowled the kits gender and looks and happily padded back to her den with leftover herbs in her mouth "Can we go see Skyfeather?" Oakkit asked "Sure but be very quiet" Skyfeather said "I'll be right behind you" She whispered as we slid through the entrance and saw Flamestorm and Quietstream talking about what to name them "Okay so Reedkit and Pinekit, what about the other girl" Quietsream asked "They're so cute!" Echokit giggled "She is so fluffy" Oakkit laughed "She looks like a-" I looked at my siblings "Fluffy cloud" My siblings and I said at the same time and giggled "She is adorable" Echokit said "That is a perfect name" Quietstream said looking at us "What?" Oakkit asked "Cloudkit it is" Flamestorm whispered licking his daughter. "When do they open their eyes?" I asked "In a few nights" Skyfeather said "Let's go eat our vole now, i'm hungry!" I said running outside and settling beside the vole and took the first bite, Echokit and Oakkit following.

Sunkit's Pov:
"Shh, he'll hear us" I heard a voice whisper "Too late" I groaned and sat up from my nest to see Pinekit, Cloudkit, and Echokit with a feather over me and Oakkit, Reedkit was in the corner being groomed by Quietstream. I walked out of the nursery with the 3 she kits following and the protest of Reedkit because he wanted to follow. "Father!" Echokit and I yelled and ran over to the striped warrior "Well hello there kits" Tigerspark yawned and sat up from his sunny place on the ground. "Lets see your hunting crouches" Tigerspark said getting in one himeself, all 4 of us crouched down as he inspected us, "Pinekit, get your tail down" Tigerspark said and she slapped it against the ground, "don't move it too much, the prey will hear it" I said looking at my tail so close the the ground but not touching, the other kits copying it "Very good, Sunkit" Tigerspark said licking in between my ears. I smiled. "Go see if the elders will tell you about tigers" Tigerspark said waving his tail "Yeah" Cloudkit said looking at us with excitment and we raced to the fresh kill pile picking out a few mice and carrying it to the leders den. Firefox and Palelight were very happy to tell us about them. "Fox!" We heard a cat yell from outside the den All of us walked out of the den and saw Nightpaw looking terrified "For what I could see, Rivertail is dead" He wailed. Rivertail is a highly respected warrior who is the mate of Silverfeather. I could hear the distress call from where the group of she cats were eating. Skyfeather stepped out of the pile which included Redfeather, Tigereyes, Rosefur, and Leaftail and of course Skyfeather. "Dead?" Lionstar asked stepping up and facing the apprentice "Blackpelt is fighting with Hawktalon, Darkpelt and Leopardtail, but Rivertail has fallen and won't move, they chased the fox out and are coming back with Rivertails body, I came ahead to tell you" Nightpaw explained "Did you fight?" Tigerspark asked "No, they told me to stay out of the Fox's way and hide" He said looking at his paws. Tigerspark gritted his teeth and lashed his tail swiping the ground with his paw. Nightpaw is my uncle then because they are brothers and Tigerspark is my father. "Im expecting his kits!" Silverfeather wailed "What?" "Since when?" "When did it happen?" "Why aren't you in the nursery?" All these questions were asked and wouldn't stop coming "Silence" Lionstar yowled "It is true!" Berryleaf said "There is no reason for her to be in the nursery for at least another moon!" She stated "Come on kits" Skyfeather said nudging us to the nursery with her tail. "Aww" Cloudkit whined "I wanna stay out and fight the fox" Pinekit giggled and pounced on Echokit "Hey! I'm not a fox!" Echokit complained "Not now darlings, inside now." Skyfeather said sternly but gently at the same time. The other patrol entered camp and as we were shooed into the nursery. "But I wanna say goodbye to Rivertail!" Echokit complained "Only people who were close with him will spend his last moments with him" Quietstream explained as she settled into her nest "But I'm not tired! It's barely sunhigh!" I said sitting down next to Oakkit "Just take a nap" Reedkit yawned and curled back into his shared nest "Okay" Pinekit said and curled next to her siblings
I woke with a yawn and glanced at my sibling tumbling over each other and Pinekit and Reedkit who were playing also and Cloudkit looked as though she was just waking up. After our nap yesterday we just played outside the nursery entrance. "Let all cat's old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the high rock for a clan meeting!" Lionstar's voiced, it felt like it shook the place. "Can we go Skyfeather?" Oakkit asked "Please Skyfeather?" Echokit beamed "Yeah i wanna go too, Quietstream" Reedkit and Cloudkit said in unision. The two queens glanced at each other "Alright but we must be quiet" Quietstream said standing and stretching and us kit's raced out of the nursery to the edge of the clan and sat down and stared up at the leader and Snowheart with excitement in our eyes. "I, Lionstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down at these two apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn. Shadepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect the clan, even at the cost of your life?" Lionstar's mighty roar sounded
"I do" Shadepaw said trying to hide his excitement "Then by the powers of Starclan. I give you your warrior name. Shadepaw, from this moment on, you will be know as Shadepelt. Starclan honors your strength and courage and we honor you as a full warrior of Reedclan" Lionstar's voice was full of pride as the leader put his head on Shadepelt's shoulder and Shadepelt licked it respectfully. "Sagepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect the clan, even at the cost of your life?"Lionstar repeated for the other apprentice "I do" Sagepaw did a little better hiding her excitement but her eyes shown "Then by the powers of Starclan. I give you your warrior name. Sagepaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Sageleaf. Starclan honors your stealth and swiftness and we honor you as a full warrior of Reedclan" Lionstar finished and the new warrior licked his shoulder "Get some rest, you two are on nightwatch" Ashfire glared.
