Chapter 9: Uninterested

Niall's POV

"Geez woman, how do you keep in shape?" Louis asked, staring at the sundae Addison had just made.

"I used to do track and basketball," she said nonchalantly.

"What happened?" Zayn asked. She shrugged.

"Got uninterested, I guess,"

I gave her a sideways glance, letting her know I didn't believe her. Addison was not a quitter, she didn't stop things simply because she became uninterested.

She looked down at her bowl, now completely empty. Then she thinks for a second, then puts her head in Perrie's lap and puts her feet up, immediately falling asleep. She may not be Zayn's biological child, but they both can fall asleep in any situation anywhere.

After a while, we got bored, so we decided to treat the fans to a twit cam, since we haven't done one in a long time. We all tweet links, then begin the twit cam.

"Hey guys! So we're here on Haz's private jet, on our way to a destination that I can't say," Liam started.

The message board popped up with "Why?"s and "Please tell us?"

I butt it.

"Sorry guys, but it's a surprise for Ads and Dakota, so we can't say,"

More messages popped up, mostly saying "Where are they?"

Louis decides to show up. "Well, Dakota's in the bathroom, and Addison is sleeping. Zayn is sleeping too, and Perrie is in the kitchen. Look, Haz is on his way over here, with Dakota! You guys get to meet her!"

Dakota and Haz came over, fingers intwined. Dakota waved, while Haz let out a cheeky "Hello!"

Perrie came over, then said "Guys, send in questions! This peacefulness isn't gonna last long, might as well ask before it gets out of hand,"

I nodded. "She speaks the truth. So send in some questions!"

Most questions are for Dakota.

"Dakota, how's it like living with Louis and Harry, and having One Direction as uncles?"

"Honestly, it's been awesome. I have so much to look forward too, and honestly it couldn't be better right now," said Dakota. Suddenly, the message board gets a wave of messages.

"You don't deserve to live with the boys, you whore!"

"Why'd they choose an ugly girl?"

"You should seriously go kill yourself, you useless bitch," and several more like that.

With that, all hell broke loose. Dakota read all the messages, and broke down, in front of everyone. Addison woke up, and immediately went to hold Dakota, and so did Liam and Perrie. I turned off the twit cam, and Harry and Louis were just in each others arms, staring off into space. Then, Harry got up, typed something on his phone, and got up and turned the twit cam back on. I gave him a questioning look.

Harry looked at the camera, the burst out.

"I am so fucking disgusted of you guys. We love Dakota so much, she's family now. She's Addison's best friend, and she's gorgeous. Why do you all hate on her? We adopted her, big whoop. You don't know her, you don't live with her, you don't talk to her. She's sweet, sarcastic, and funny. She is literally the best thing that has happened to me, besides the band and Lou. So if you hate on her, you're not a Directioner. You aren't," with that, he stood up, and left.

Then Louis started talking.

"I agree with Haz. This is fucking horrible for all of us," and with that, he closes the laptop, and runs off in the same direction Haz did. I sigh, then look at the rest, who just stare at the laptop.

"Fuck this, I'm gonna go talk to Stylinson. Dakota hun, everything will be okay. It'll get better," with that, Addison gave Dakota a long hug, and ran after Lou and Harry.

Addison's POV

I walk in the direction Stylinson went, and found a bedroom. With the door closed. I sighed. Not wanting to scar myself, I knocked. I heard a Come in, so I turned to knob and entered.

I saw Lou and Haz on a bed, cuddling. I sighed once again, and took a seat at the end of the bed.

"Are you guys okay? You seemed very shook up in there."

"We're okay," Lou said. "Just trying to cope with it all. Which reminds me, how have you been dealing with the hate? Do you get any?"

"Of course I get hate. I don't get as much as Dakota for some reason, but the minimal amount of hate I get is harsh," I say.

"But I'm fine, I ignore it," I lie.

Dakota then walks in, and sits down beside me. Haz then sits up, and pulls both of us between him and Lou.

"Cuddle with us," he says. "I think we all need some sleep. Zayn or Niall will probably wake us up before we land."

I sigh, then snuggle up against Harry, who wraps his arm around my waist. Lou does the same to Dakota, who also has arm against my shoulder. I put a hand on her waist. As soon as I'm comfortable, I fall asleep. Again.

We walk through the airport terminal, and I finally get to see where we are. I see the Sydney Opera House. Wait. The Sydney Opera House. We're in Australia! I immediately run up and hug Zayn, and feel him returning my hug.

"I can't believe you brought us to Australia!" I exclaim after letting go of Zayn. I look over at Dakota, who had the same expression on her face.

I went through my Australia bucket list in my head, thinking about what I wanted to do.

"We'll only be here for a week, then we head off to London to start our tour rehearsals," said Liam.

The boys start their tour soon, and Dakota and I were going with them. We hired a teacher to go on tour and help us continue with school.

Suddenly, I see Niall drop his bags and run up to the end of the terminal. He hugged a boy with an All Time Low singlet on, along with jeans and a pair of black vans. He had black hair falling into his face, and returned Niall's hug.

I nudge Zayn. "Who's he?" I asked.

"You'll find out," he said. "I think you'll really like them," he winked.

Them? There's more than one?

We walk up, and are introduced.

"Addison, this is Calum. Calum, Addison," Niall smiled.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you," I said.

"You too," said Calum, giving me a hug. I could immediately tell we'd get along well. He was introduced to Dakota, then we all got into a limo Zayn rented, and started talking.

"So, Addison and Dakota, now that I know more about you guys, I think you'll get on well with the boys," he said.
