Iwaizumi POV

After a whole night of getting up every hour to check on Oikawa to make sure that he is not on his back so that he doesn't suffocate if he vomits, I am up at 5 am while Oikawa is sleeping peacefully.

Thank god it's Saturday. I start the coffee, as I wait I go to Oikawa's room to find him surprisingly sitting up in bed.

"What are you doing up? You're supposed to have a hangover." He looks at me with fear, but realizes who I am and he relaxes somewhat.

"Where am I?" He asks me with weary eyes.

"My house." His eyes widen and I smirk at him.

"Why? What did I do last night?!"

"Nothing."

"Did I say anything... interesting?"

"Nope."

"You're lying."

"Maybe."

"Dammit, can't you see that the last thing I remember is us taking a couple shots of... vodka! That's what it was! That's the last thing I remember."

"Well, you should learn to hold your liquor better."

"Iwaizumi sensei! That's mean." Aha, so he doesn't remember that. That's probably good on my part.

"Come to the kitchen, I'm going to make breakfast. And there should be coffee by now."

"Okay! I'm starving!"

"Probably because you emptied all of the contents of your stomach into my septic tank all last night."

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, did I keep you up?"

"Nah, I only came to check on you every hour. I didn't lose that much sleep."

"Ahh! I'm sorry! It will never happen again! I'll never drink in your presence again! And if I do then just leave wherever I am!"

"How are you yelling right now?"

"I'm not sure." I roll my eyes and gesture for him to follow me into the kitchen. I hear him following slowly behind me, we finally get to the kitchen and he sits at a barstool at the tile counter.

"You have a big house, do you live here with anyone?" Oikawa asks me as I get mugs for him and I for our coffee.

"No, I live alone, I inherited this house from my mother, she passed away around a month ago, that's why I got a job at your college since I already had a house nearby."

"I'm sorry about your mother, but, I am glad that you're here. But it's sad that you're always alone here." I look at him with surprise, most people just pay attention to the fact that I inherited such a nice house. But not this man, he sympathized my mother's death and acknowledged me being by myself all the time.

"Um, yeah. I've looked for roommates but no one seems to want to live here. And I don't understand why honestly." Oikawa's eyes widened at this statement.
