A week ago, Cas never would have thought his life would, in any way, come to this. Just under a week ago, he was a relatively happy, healthy --- or so he thought --- guy. Now? Well, Cas is basically fighting for his life.

"Cas! Come out of your room. Let's go do something...fun. Please," Gabriel pleads, banging continuously on Castiel's door. He sighs after getting no answer and rests his forehead in defeat, on the cool, wooden door. He closes his eyes. "Please Cas. Don't do this. Don't spend the last few months you have, in this room. Come outside with us, have a little fun. it's a nice day out. I'll be taking Anna for our daily visit to the park." he hears a creaking sound, as if someone was getting off a bed, and the door opens ever so slightly.
"Please Gabriel, I just don't feel like going outside right now. Just take Michael with you." His eyes are all puffy and red, as if he's been crying. They also seem to lose that glow they used to have. The Castiel glow, as Gabe would call it.
Gabe walks into Castiel's room and sits on the edge of the bed. "Please come with us. You've been hiding away in this room since the news hit. You need some fresh air, something to take your mind off it. Please, don't spend the rest of the life you have left, in your room. Go out, have an adventure. Go make a bucket-list. Go find love. Please just, don't do this." As Gabriel pleads this to him, Castiel's eyes begin to water again. "Anna also misses you. She hasn't seen you since you locked yourself away. We all love you Cas, and we only want the best of you." Cas looks up at Gabe, still not saying a word.
"Castiel!" A young shrieks comes from the doorway as Anna runs in the room. Castiel smiles a little, picking her up and setting her in his lap. "Are you coming to the park with us? We're going to the park today!" Anna looks up at Castiel. Her eyes glow with pure happiness and joy, seeing her older brother.
With shock from Gabriel, Castiel nods his head with a smile. "Yeah, I'll come. Just give me a moment to change." He glances over at Gabriel and he smiles. Anna skips out of the room, over-joyed that Castiel is joining them for their daily trip to the park.
"Thank you." They both stand up and Gabe brings Cas in for a warm hug. "I love you, okay?" Castiel doesn't say it back but he smiles and nods.

The park seems extra crowded today as Castiel, Gabe, Michael, and Anna arrive. Anna immediately runs off to the swings as the boys find a seat at an empty bench, by an old oak tree.
Michael gets into a deep conversation with Gabe but Cas just sits in silence, watching the children play.
After a deep conversation about an even Michael had went to, Gabriel turns to Cas and nudges his shoulder, getting his attention. "What would you like for dinner today? You must be starving, having eaten in a while."
Castiel shakes his head, looking back at the playground. "I'm not hungry." He hasn't eaten anything in a week. His stomach quietly growls, but he just ignores it.
Gabriel stares at Cas with a concerned look. "Come on Cas, we can go to your favourite restaurant. I know how much you love Tuesday's Bar and Grill." Castiel looks back at Gabriel with a blank stare, as if he's thinking about something.
"Yeah, and maybe you'll meet a special lady there," Michael chips in, teasingly.
"Or a guy," Cas scoffs at his brother Gabriel's joke, shaking his head.
After a few minutes of playful teasing, not to mention begging, Castiel finally gives in, defeated. "Fine. But then i'm going back to my room to lie down for a little." Gabriel turns to Michael as the high five each other, proud of their accomplishments. Cas notices this and rolls his eyes.
Please let this day go by quick...
