it was zayn and i's first real date tonight. all of the other times, something happened or one of us didn't show up. it was mostly my fault though because i bailed. it was a friday night after my football game. i was heading home to get changed and freshen up.
it's only 8:00, our games end early because they start earlier. i rush home and walked in the house. i was excited to see my beautiful baby later tonight, i had to look somewhat pretty for him.
i sigh running upstairs to my room and grabbed my phone sending zayn a quick text.

from zayn: can't wait
i read his text in confusion, he didn't seem that excited. im seeing him later so ill just ask him them i thought then shrug it off. i looked in the closet and picked out an outfit

i changed quickly then glanced in the mirror fixing my hair. i grin to myself then grabbed my phone and called zayn.
zayn was finished getting ready and he heard his phone ring, and saw it was liam. he picked it up and smiled. "hi li, im ready."
"yeah okay me too babe, i'll see you soon? at 8:30?" liam says grabbing his keys and wallet.
"yeah sure li.." zayn said getting on his shoes. liam frowned "baby what's wrong you seem upset?"
"im fine babe..just i'll explain later on our date it's nothing bad don't worry." zayn said and liam frowned.. "okay i'll try not to worry." zayn chuckles and hung up the phone heading downstairs.
zayns mom, trisha looked at his son smiling. "my baby going on his first date!!! he's growing up too fast" trisha says getting her phone tearing up. "mum stop that!" zayn said in an annoyed tone.
"i can't help it zee! i wish dad were here to see this.." zayn frowned at that and looked away. his dad had passed away, two years ago. he still misses him to this day, he barely talked about it with anyone. "mum.." Zayn looked at her tearing up then went and hugged her. "he's always looking down at u-us.."
trisha nodded and smiled sadly hugging zayn back. "he'd be so proud."
"i know mummy.." zayn smiled sadly and pulled away hearing the door bell.
"your date is here." trisha said smirking . zayn chuckled and opened the door looking at his boyfriend in awe. he's so handsome, zayn thought.
"hey zaynie." liam said in a raspy voice. "liam honey, you can come in the house, it's cold outside." trisha says looking at them. zayn rolled his eyes and looked at liam embarrassed. "sorry about her she's excited."
"well i am too!" liam said walking in and grabbed zayns hand.
