A/N: Y'all I am so sorry that I take so long to update. I know I apologize every time but I truly am sorry, college life is wearing on me. But aaaaye, here is your update! Also, this chapter bounces back and forth between different characters points of view, just as a heads up!

As soon as Alice entered her home, Edward was on her with Rosalie nearby.

"How could you tell her?! Now you have put us all at risk!" Edward hissed, with his hand on Alice's throat. It took less than a second until the rest of the Cullens were there, surrounding the three.

"Edward back off!" Jasper demanded, his eyes flashing as he made to move towards them but was stopped by Carlisle's hand on his shoulder.

"Why should he? She has put our entire family at risk! We could all be killed because of her idiocy!" Rosalie roared, just as furious as Edward.

Because Edward would know every move Alice would make she knew she had to be quick when she swiftly kicked him in the gut and sent him flying across the room and into the piano. Esme winced as her beloved piano was crushed, but knew that now was not the time to worry about an instrument that was easily replaced. Edward recovered quickly and launched himself at Alice again but was met halfway by the woman herself. Alice was small and not as fast as Edward, but she was just as strong and would fight him until he gave in if she had too. Edward went to grab her but she quickly slid from his grasp and pinned him to the ground by his throat.

"I love her Edward. I had to tell her, she's not like Cassie. She won't tell anyone." Alice said, with such ferocity that even Rosalie's eyes momentarily softened. At the mention of Edwards' decade's old lover, he flung Alice off of him and stood quickly, realizing this was a pointless fight.

"This isn't over Alice, you'll have to pay someday for what you've done." He turned to walk away before looking over his shoulder at Alice, "And don't ever mention that name again." Once Edward had left, with Rosalie shortly after him, Esme approached Alice and placed her hand gently on her shoulder. With a nod towards the others left in the room, soon the only two left in the room were Alice and Esme.

"How did she take it?" Esme asked gently. Alice looked over at her and if she could cry, Esme was sure there would be tears in the younger woman's eyes.

"She told me she needed time." Alice looked down, a thousand thoughts running through her head. What if Bella never wanted to see her again? How much time would she need? What would happen in school the following day?

"Alice, just give her the time she asked for, this is an awful lot of information to take in. Don't give up on her just yet." Esme kissed Alice's cheek before heading off to find where her husband went and to figure out how they would deal with the Volturi when they inevitably found out.

Alice stood in her spot for a few more moments before deciding to do what always helped clear her mind. She drew, and drew, until she ran out of charcoal and pencils, and was left with painting.

Bella sat on her bed, all of the newly discovered information swirling around in her head. Every part of Bella screamed at her that Alice was lying and somehow was playing a very elaborate joke on her. And then things started to click into place; Alice always being cold, never going out when it was sunny out, her disappearing from school for a full week once a month to "visit their aunt in Alaska", even how the whole family looked alike and yet weren't at all related. The pale skin, and never eating. Bella laid down on her bed and ran her fingers through her hair.

Alice was a vampire.

What on earth was she supposed to do with that? Vampires shouldn't exist and yet somehow there was a whole world she didn't know of that consisted of the monsters from her childhood bedtime stories. But Alice wasn't anything like the vampires she grew up hearing about, no, she was sweet, and kind, and held the door open for her. She loved the stars and sappy romance movies. Alice wasn't a monster, she was just Alice. A vampire, who Bella was completely and utterly in love with.
