School hero part 2

Beep Beep Beep

The constant noise has been irritating me for ten minutes straight. I refuse to open my eyes thought because I'm tired and I just want some damn sleep.

As I tried to move onto my side I was met with the worse pain I have ever felt in my entire life.

"Ugggggghhhhh." I let out a loud groan as I try to open my eyes.

Once my eyes are squinted open I look around and when I do, believe me when I tell you that I have never been more confused in my entire life.

"Boi what the fuck?" All I see is what I believe to be big machines on the side of my bed. But my vision is still a little bit blurry from just waking up.

After rubbing my eyes I recognized one of the machines as a heart monitor. I don't know what the fuck the other one is for.

Scanning my surroundings more clearly I locate a remote on this table that has wheels on it. Allowing me to pull it closer to me with ease.

"Ooooo what does this do?" I ask myself before I press a button on the remote that results in a laser to light up at the front of the remote.

As I'm playing with all the buttons on the remote I can hear faint voices and heavy footsteps approaching my room.

"Yea I'll just go and check on Mrs.Y/Ln and I'll let you know if you can come in." I heard a male voice from outside the room.

I turn my head to the door when I hear it open.

"Oh you're awake. Well Mrs. Y/Ln I'm Dr.Kenley but you can call me David. Now I'm just here to check that all your vitals are in order." I just nod my head watching him walk around pressing buttons on the machines.

After a couple minutes of checking everything out he comes back to the left side of my bed.

"Ok so everything seems to be in the clear but I need to ask you some questions before I leave. Are you ok with that?" He asks with a calm voice, clipboard in hand.

"Yeah that's fine, whatever you need to do." I reply to him.

"Ok first question, are you feeling any pain?"

"Yea it hurts like hell if I try to move." I respond while he writes my answers down.

"Any nausea?"

"No."

"Dizziness?"

"No."

After multiple other questions on how I feel he finally got to the last questions.

"Ok last one, do you have any recollection of what happened before you passed out." He finally looks up from his clipboard to meet my semi-confused face.

"Um yea I was in class and then I heard gunshots...." My sentence starts to trail off as my eyes widen.

"Alexa! Where is she?!? Is she ok?!?"I start to try to get out of bed and you can hear my heart monitor beeping faster.

"Woah woah woah calm down your sister is just fine. We were able to stitch her up. Luckily it was just a flesh wound and it didn't hit anything important. Later on you can go see her, she a couple rooms down, resting." He says while pushing me back into the bed.

After hearing that I immediately start to calm down and you can hear the beeping start to slow down until it's back to it's normal rate.
