It was just a week after the escape of Loki and the fiasco at Thrym's underground cave. Needless to say, Odin was really unhappy, but Thor kept boasting about how he will get him back.

Meanwhile, I had other plans.

After the events with Loki, I knew I had to act fast before other people looked at Alex. I gathered my courage and went to find her.

She, as usual, was sitting in her room doing pottery. Today she was female, I could tell. After I knocked and waited, she finally opened the door. Her hair was as usual, having bits of wet clay in it. "Yes Magnus?" She said irritably. "I..." my mouth went dry. She raised one eyebrow. "Yes...?" She asked. I licked my lips and tried again; "Alex are you free today?" Her eyebrow went higher. I swear it will drop off soon. "I am later, I am just finishing this one I'm making. Why?" She asked, impatient. "I was thinking if...youwouldliketogotolunchwithme?" I finished hurriedly. Her other eyebrow went up. "Now say that slower." She said glaring. I gulped and repeated myself;"I was thinking if you would like to go to lunch with me." "In the city." I added. Her glare vanished and now her face was just filled with curiosity. "You are asking me on a date?" I shifted uncomfortably. "Yes..." I squeaked out. She giggled. Wait giggled? "Very well, meet me out here in 30 minutes, dress nicely." She said and closed the door. My mind was blank for the moment. Did she just agree to a date with me?! I thought. I fist-pumped and ran back into my room to shower.

(30 minutes later)
I stood outside her door and knocked. I was wearing a casual green t-shirt and black pants. The door opened and my eyes widened. Alex, who only once wore a bridal dress, know wore a casual lime green dress that went to her knee and she wore a pair of sandals. "You look pretty." I complimented her. She blushed lightly and glared. "You looked nice too." She said. I offered my arm to her and she took it. "Let's go." She said and we went through the portal to Boston. (I have never been to Boston before so bare with me)

We walked over to Macdonald(yes I think it's a good place for a date. Don't judge me). She ordered a cheeseburger and I order a fillet'o'fish. I paid and we found a seat and we talked about. She talked about her pottery projects. I talked about my days just wandering around Hotel Valhalla and Jack. It was a wonderful meal and I found myself falling for this green-eyed and green-haired girl even harder. We were on our way back when Loki appeared before us. I took Jack out and looked at him warily. "Mother." Alex said in disgust. "What are you doing here?" "Can't I visit my daughter." Female Loki said. Ugh it's really weird, I'll call female Loki Lokia instead. She looked at me. "That's a good name for me Magnus thank you." She said. Alex looked at me. "I thought of her as of "Lokia" instead of Loki and she seemed to like it." Lokia seemed to liked it. "Thank you Magnus. As a reward, I will gift my daughter the ability to change her gender at will. Have fun, though not too much, I don't wanna be a grandmother yet." Lokia said and vanished. We just looked at each other and walked back to Hotel Valhalla in silence.
In the hotel, we stopped outside her door. "I'm sorry..." she started. "No. It's ok. I had a nice time with you today." I said. She smiled. She looked so cute. "I had a good time too." She said and kissed my cheek. "Goodnight Magnus." She said softly and closed her door. I touched my cheek where she kissed me.

I'm never taking a bath again.
