"You're going to the celebration on that?" My best friend, Isis, growled in disgust as she eyed my clothes up and down. What's wrong with wearing skinny rip jeans, red converse and a maroon sweater? Like as if reading my mind, Isis let out a groan and marched to my closet. "You know it's the Lycan Rules that whenever an Alpha or Beta or both will retire and celebrate the new generation, EVERYONE must wear casuals and these —" Isis gestured at my clothes, "—Is not casual"

"Forgive me for having a terrible disliking towards dresses and heels" I said not even looking at Isis since I was lying on my back on my bed. I don't really like wearing casuals, I stick with jeans and converse.

Without noticing, Isis pulled out a red knee length cocktail hangs on her arm and her other hand holding the black lace heels that I didn't even dare to touch. Those pieces of fashion was a gift from Brea on my sixteenth birthday, since she knew I hate those stuff, I store it away. I don't want money wasted on some gift when it is not even accepted, I made a noise when Isis pulled me up by the wrist.

"You. Young Lady, go change and I'll be here waiting. I'll fix your hair and put some small make up on you. No Buts! Go!" She knew me well, of course, when I hate dresses, I hate make ups. Seriously, make up feels like you been smudge by dozen of pies in the face. Ugh.

I stroll to the bathroom, quickly changing and loudly cursing when I almost didn't take my foot out of my jeans. My back was free open since I couldn't reach the buttons, my eyes landed on the mirror and I froze.

The dress fits me perfectly even since I took this dress away two years ago, when I first put it on it was a bit big for my size but today, it's like I changed. I blinked multiple times, realizing I been staring at myself for minutes. I decomposed my messy bun and let it land on my shoulders, the sound of Isis playing 'Side to Side' By Ariana Grande boomed my room.

I got out of the bathroom with my previous clothes in hand, when Isis saw me, she squealed and jumped like as if her crush smiled at her. She quickly rambled, "O my gosh, O my gosh O my gosh! You look beautiful on that dress, remind me to tag you along with these kind of celebrations"

"Na-ah! Never in a million years!" I protested and she rolled her eyes. There is no way I am going to wear more dresses! Conner and Louis would haunt my dreams if I did. I gestured Isis the chaos on my back and she jogged over and put the buttons on, she pulled me to sit down and held a make up kit on her palm, she smiled and I raised a brow at her.

"Why do you have that stupid smile on your face?" I asked and she rolled her eyes and sat down beside me on the edge of the bed, "It's just ... It's like were we only kids yesterday. Goofing off and laugh when one trips over, boy I miss those and then today, We're eighteen, Louis and Conner will have their job started. Matured and responsible and all. I just wished we could go back as kids again and have the memories positive"

I smile sadly at her, Isis and her parents came from the Innocence Pack. Her blonde wavy hair sways curled on a cute bun, her dark green eyes matches a crocodile's skin, her skin was pale as a paper sheet and her blue dress fits her body like a second skin. We met her when I was only eight and she and Louis were like cats and dogs back then and ever scene was hilarious.

"We never grew up Isis, we are still kids trapped inside on a body of a adult" She smiled as she applied an eye liner on my left.

"I found my mate" Her hands left my face as I stared at her, shocked and surprised. I grin, "Congrats I! Why didn't you told me sooner? Did Conner and Lou know? What's his name?" I asked. Good for her, she found her mate. She managed to smile as she sigh, "Well, I met him when I was visiting my grandparents at the Innocence Pack last week"
