"Jesus! One year and we are here again. You are standing generously as hope and belief for so many people and I am on my knees, being one of them, praying to you. The world rotates and it really has something to do with my life because it rotates and bring the same phase and same time to me always. I am worried again. You should know what happened, may you laugh a little besides consoling me silently for my sorrows. I found someone as my soulmate, we got together in a week and stayed together for another one. One evening we were roaming around on an empty road and then she suddenly requested me to sing for her. You already know I am not good at singing yet I tried to sing for her. She stopped me in the middle and said we need to split up. I was shocked and I asked for a genuine reason. The reason cracked me up as I got to know she didn't want a boyfriend who can't sing good for her when she is about to sleep near him on the Bed. Like seriously? I was stunned and confused that I should chortle out at the situation or learn that bad luck can even give birth to most insensible thing to keep its reputation. Well we both should laugh at this, please, I have bored you so much always with my problems and... " Azam was continuing his story and then suddenly someone interrupted.
"Haha! Haha! Thankfully Miracle has happened my child. You got something really interesting to tell this year." Someone laughed and said these words with variations of pitch.
Azam turned back and when he saw the person, his eyes got bigger and in only some seconds he was standing with his mouth opened pointing his finger toward the person.
"Hey! Oh God! I Know You. Wait! Who Are You? Do I Know You. You Are Beautiful. Oops No. I Know You. Right?"
She Chuckled.
It was the morning of 24th of December, 2015. The Church was still the same, beautifully decorated by the natives for Christmas. The red benches were not faded and the golden floor still didn't fail to sparkle. The paintings were still carrying the same deep messages. The rainbow coloured hollow dome was still amazing. The boy confessing was the same and the girl which interrupted was the same. The noticeable changes were that the girl got more beautiful than before and the tensions on boy's forehead were almost disappeared.
"Oh My God Miracle! Miracle! Miracle! You are Miracle Oh My God." shouted Azam loudly.
"Stop this. Haha. Stop." She said smilingly.
"I can't stop. My Miracle is here. Let me fly high. Jesus! Give me wings." He turned to Jesus and said all in a teasing way.
"Will you stop or I should go" She warned.
"Tell me your name or I will make my mouth marry 'miracle'. It will keep shouting that." He played back turning towards her.
"Okay calm down! I am Alice."
"Alice! Great! Beautiful name as you." Azam complemented.
"Whats Yours? " Alice asked Azam
"I am Azam. Leave the name. Can you shake hands with me. Cause I doubt if you are for real. May Be God has sent you for me or else why do we meet at this early morning in the same church after two years in the same date. I visit this Church at this time for five years and this didn't happen before. And also you are too beautiful to be the one from out of the world. One from the heaven. Got it?" Azam said in excitement.
"Haha! You are insane. Your way of talking, your attitude, everything turns the time when you turn towards me from Jesus. It happened last year too" Alice described her observation.
"Exactly. Who are you? An angel? Heavenly? God's Girl? What? Its you who turn everything upside down for me, in a good way of course. The moment I see your face, I get rid of my agitations and my unsettled mind starts to settle down in peace. I feel my heart thumping lovingly. I feel my bustling nerves get something amazing for my soul to discover and encounter some never felt comfort."
She was lost in his words with gratification, standing still and watching his gentle actions of telling. The more she learned the the reality of the words from his truthful eyes, the more innocence was developing on her face. She wished to experience his lovely chin on her palm or at least she could hold his hand.
"Who are you? How come you are here at the same time in two consecutive years?" He asked.
Alice could hear and response.
"Hold My Hand" Said Alice.
"Yes?" Azam was surprised.
"You wanted to shake hands with me so that you get to know I am for real and I am a human" She altered sentences and hide her feelings.
They both shook hands. While Azam was shaking hands to know if she was for real, Alice was finding an ease through the touch of their hands. And before he could feel anything, Alice took her hand back.
"I came here, the same story, I woke up and I couldn't sleep and then I could see the decorations of the Church from my home so I thought of coming here." She said.
"Did it remind you of me" He smirked and asked.
"No" she replied.
Well, she lied. The first thought that strike her when she saw the decorated Church was of him.
"Beautiful coincidence. I want this to happen again and again. Lets meet next year again. Just don't sleep that night too. It wouldn't happen then. Let the world rotate and bring the time back" He said and giggled.
"You are leaving for town again?" She sounded a little uncomfortable.
"Wow! You heard my last confession too and you remember where I go after I visit church."
"I have a sharp memory. Leave my memory. Are you coming here tomorrow again to Celebrate Christmas." She had his style of talking.
Alice was getting restless to hold him back. To her, his jokes, the situation, the moment was not as much exhilarating as the thought of watching him again. She didn't want him to leave for town again. Her face was getting dull and the voice was getting low with somewhat of pain in her heart. He could feel some change. A beautiful feeling of being desired by someone. He wanted to smile watching her angelic face but all he could do is make a weird face trying to read her mind.
"I will not celebrate until Miracle happens, I will leave" He spoke.
He was not willing to say that. All this happening was kind of a magic. He was not sure if it was the way he was thinking. He needed to resist himself.
She was a girl after all and a girl likes to keep her feelings in the very bottom of her heart as pebbles placed deep down in the bottom of an ocean and expects someone to pick them all up by himself.
She forbade him goodbye.
Azam left the church murmuring 'Miracle Christmas'
Alice turned back to Jesus.
"This Is Not Fair."
She said in distress. A drop of tear rolled down from her left cheek as if a pebble has jumped with heartache and the water from oceanic heart got the way to flow out through her beautiful eyes making them sorrowful.Written by
