Academy of Wonder {chapter 6}

Flames: hey guys, im sorry this took so long, I had a lot going on. But im ready to get back up and let you guys put your questions to rest. Enjoy this next installment of Academy of Wonder.

Chapter 6

William P.O.V.

Did I have to be such an idiot. There I stood at the bottom of the stairs looking up, I could feel her in her room. Moving around, making the small place hers. Sooner or later she would figure out It had been me. I couldn't help it, everything about her drew me in. Her scent, her face, her body... her eyes... oh her eyes. I could drown in them. So deep and green. They where more a green blue, like they could change colors depending on her mood.

This girl fascinated me, and this was just the beginning. I KNEW I could not stay away from her, I didn't want to stay away. Though everything in me screamed TO stay away. What the hell was a guy to do?

I quickly walked to my room and shut myself in, my back on the door. I fought the urge to go back up there and knock on the door. To have her open it and drag her in my arms. I had to get this crazed idea from my head. She couldn't be here. Not now. Not when things where brewing here at the Academy. I wondered why she had been placed in my dorm. This was spelling trouble all over. And I was going to get answers. Till then I would just act cool and distant around her.

I could do that.. couldn't I? I shook my head and ran my hands threw my hair. This whole thing had me frustrated as hell.

My dorm was known as the Red dorm for a reason, it was the elite, not just anyone could be placed in it. It had over time become the 'blood' of the Academy. Only the top students could get in; They had to be the top in grades, looks, and money. But that wasn't all. There was a much darker reason behind the 'blood' dorm. These reasons were held under red tape and hush hushed. NO one could ever know, not even the parents.

The whole reason this school could run so smoothly and efficiently. So much money was maid by these students in the red dorm. Other then the tuition, the money was made from the things the students had to do. You see these students where not just normal students. They coul- there was a loud knock at my door.

At first my heart started to pound in thought that it could be her, the girl I could barely keep my thoughts from. But in a split second I knew it was not her, it couldn't be. After crossing the room to open the door I wish I hadn't. There on the other side was my ex. "Mut." That's how she always greeted me.

"Areial, what are you doing here, I broke up with you weeks ago." I closed the door after her, hoping this would be quick.

" I came here to tell you," she took a deep breath. "I'm leaving this year, you know graduation and all, and I wanted to work things out. I still love you deeply William, my feelings wont change just because your in this dorm and I'm not. Though god only knows why I'm not." Areial was in the yellow rose dorm, just an ordinary dorm compared to ours. A red dorm member and yellow dorm member could never work out. Not because of anything out of the normal, well no one in the red was normal.

"I'm sorry Areial, but we cant. I just don't feel the same any more." I spoke calmly, knowing what was coming next. I took a seat at my desk and waited.

"Please William, I'll do anything. I love you so much. Each day without you is tearing a whole in my heart." She had started to tear up. This was the third time since we broke up almost a month before. Maybe I knew she would be coming. Again that girl invaded my head.

I took a deep breath. I knew what I would have to do. I didn't like this but she just was not understanding. "Look Areial, I'm getting tired of this little game. You need to face the fact that I'm a Red and your nothing more then a Yellow. We could never work out. I'm just way out of your league and you could never reach me. So get out of my room and leave me be. Your becoming quite the nascence." I picked up as book and thumbed threw it as if I was dismissing her. To her it looked like I wasn't looking at her but I was.

Her face was one of shock and slowly it started to turn red. "You... You.... Bastard. Your exactly like everyone said you would be, cold and heartless. I cant believe I wasted my love on a guy like you. I hope you die alone and miserable." she huffed and turned on her heels.

I sighed and got up from my desk. Two days of rumors and some work and everything would be back to normal. Then I could make a move on Karina.... there I go again. That girl was never too far from my thoughts. I wasn't just thinking of the way she looked, no that would make me like all the other normal guys, my thoughts kept returning to why she was here in these dorms.

As I paced around the room trying to figure this all out I herd the hall clock ring out. Damn it, what time was it? During the whole Areial thing and my thoughts I lost track of time. I had told Karina that I would show her to dinner so that she would know how to get there. Just being helpful, yeah right. I rushed up the stairs and headed for her room. I hated to be late.

When I arrived at her room I could hear her on the phone. I knew it was bad to eavesdrop but I couldn't help myself. This was becoming a reacquiring factor where she was concerned. I pressed my ear to the door and cought on to her side of the conversation.

"Fraya, he is hotter then hot. Mega hot..... yeah I cant do that....." there was hopping sounds from inside. "Yeah there is a lot of hot guys here. You would like that..... ha, you just miss me...." I herd her laugh and it did funny things to my insides. " Hey Fraya, I gotta scram, its dinner time...... no William said he would take me..... no not a date, hes just being friendly.... no.... someone that hot has to be taken..... oh girl....." again there was that laugh. "Well I'll talk to you later."

I herd the click of heels as she walked to the door. Oh god, I had to move or she would chatch me.
