Chapter 1

"Hey Jake, what's up?" I asked my friend. He has been my friend for 6 years now.

"Nothing, just getting ready to go play basketball. Do you want to come?"

"Eh sure give me like 5 minutes." Jake is also my neighbor. With that I hung up the phone and head down stairs.

When I got down I started to laugh, because Jake was wearing girl shorts and a crop top.

"Dude, what the heck are you wearing?" I said while laughing.

"Oh you didn't know this is the latest fashion." He said with a duh tone, but was clearly being sarcastic.

"Yea maybe for girls, you idiot." Tommy said. I haden't realized Tommy was here until now.  I walked to him and gave him a bro hug and then hit him upside the head.

"Hey Tom-Tom." I said, and received a glare after that which caused me to laugh.

"So do you guys want to like start playing and what-not." Jake asked.

"Yea sure." Tommy and I replied at the same-ish time.

~***~

"Okay, I'm done." I said and sat down. We had decided to go to the park and play, mainly because there were girls playing volleyball all the time down here but you now.

"Yea me two." Jake said.

"Well I guess that means I have to be done as well don't I?" Me and Jake nodded, even though we knew it was a rhetorical question.

"What do you guys want to do know?"

"Well I have no clue Drew,"  Tommy looked up from the ground with wide eyes. "I just rhymed!" Me and Jake started laughing.

"Hey do you guys think I can make the hoop from here?" Jake asked. I just shrugged. "Okay Ima try den." I started chuckling at how he said it. He shot the ball and missed miserably. It was so bad it actually went into the forest that was right next to it. Yea, Yea this isn't the best park. I shot him a look and I myself went to go get the ball. As I was walking I saw a girl sitting with her head in her knees crying. I totally forgot about the ball and walked over to her, I crouched in front of her and tapped her on her shoulder. She looked up and I was completely shocked, stunned. This girl was gorgeous.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked in a whisper voice. He bottom lip trembled and she looked away.

"Nothing I'm fine." She said in a voice that was just above a whisper, but it was course and dry.

"That is obviously a lie." I couldn't help myself she was so beautiful, and I couldn't help wounder why she was so upset. She had to be really shot, because even though I was kneeling in front of her I was towering over her. Her eyes were piercing blue, the kind that captured you and wouldn't let you go. Her hair was long and dark. She was wearing a sweatshirt and pants even though it was 80 degrees out.

"Well what else do you want me to tell you, that I'm broken inside, that no one cares about you, that me being born is a mistake, that I want to run away and never come back, maybe go the step further and make myself nonexistent; extinct from this world, that maybe I want to know what it feels like to be cared for; not loved just cared for, that I believe I'm a failure?!" She took a second to breath from her rant and screaming, "is that what you want?" She finally said in a whisper. I was now sitting in front of her looking her in the eyes.

"Do you feel at least a little better?" I asked. She had tears in her eyes and she started to shake her head in a no fashion. "Well what would make you feel better?" She looked at me to see if I was being serious and when she was that I was took a deep breath in and looked down.

"Nothing." I put my fingertips under her chin and lifted it up.

"Can you tell me you name?"

"A-Abby."

"Well, a pretty name for a pretty lady." She looked at me and smiled for half a second then it faded instantly.

"I should go." She said, and stood up really fast, so fast if make me dizzy. My earlier hypothesis was correct. She was in deed tiny. I stood up too and she up at me with shock, but quickly recovered.

"I can take you to your house if you want me to." Her eyes went wide and she shook her head so fast I though he would get whiplash.

"NO!, I mean no you don't need to." I gave her a suspicious look but then sighed.

"Fine, well Abby it was nice to meet you and I hope I can see you again some time." I smiled at her and she smiled too. She walked closer to me and gave me a hug with shocked me. She realized she was hugging me and back away really fast, her eyes wide mouth open and everything. She ran away from me.

                 Just

                Ran........
