"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" rang out in my ears as my friends and I watchd the ball drop on TV.
As everyone kissed their significant other, I stood there awkardly, until my best friends, Sophia, Ava and Noah hugged me. Jonah had already past out, as I had suspected.
"New Year, New Me!", Soph proclaimed. I gave her the death glare as she laughed. She new i hated when people say that, because it's never true.
As I walked to my room, Ava caught up to and tapped me on my shoulder. She said," Hey, are you okay? You seem kinda bummed out."
"Yeah I'm just stressed cause we are moving in a few days. The stress is ruining my wanderlust." I lied. I was bummed 'cause I didn't have a New Year's Kiss, when all of my friends had one. She rolled her eyes at me. " What? You know I love to travel."
"Yeah I'm pretty excited, though. Night Mar." She said as she stalked off towards her and Soph's room.

Next Morning:
I woke up, and found all my friends standing in the kitchen. "MARRYY!!!" Jonah screamed. I expected him to be too hungover to open his eyelids.
"What time is it?", I said groggily.
Soph answered, "12:00 p.m., boo. We let you sleep in." Oh, that explained the fact Jonah was actually awake
"You didn't have to do that, guys." I said, kind of upset. I hate missing out on the day like this.
"It's time to finish packing up! But first, we are going shopping!!!" Ava yelled in my ear, standing on her tiptoes because she was four inches shorter than me. Good, I thought. I need some clothes for Cali, seeing as I live in Pittsburgh, and my clothing items consist of hoodies and jeans.
I ran up stairs to get ready. Soph, Ava, and I share the biggest bathroom in the house, and Noah and Jonah got the guest bathroom by the living room.
I got out my straightener and make up bag and started getting ready. As I finished straightened my bangs, Ava and Sophia walked into the bathroom, already dressed and ready.
"Go get dressed!", Soph ordered me as she pushed me out of the bathroom.
I walked into my closet and picked out an oversized black sweater, some jeans, a beanie, and my favorite vans.( http://www.polyvore.com/shopping/set?id=112684477 ). I ran out the door, making sure I had my phone and wallet. I was glad we were going shopping, I needed to clear my mind, and hanging out with my best friends was the cure.
Just as I opened the car door, Noah sighed, "Finally.", and rolled his eyes.
"Oh shush, you love me!" And I kissed him on the cheek.
"To the mall and onward!!" We all yelled in unsion as Jonah hit the gas.
