Well, here's my story. It's about me, and an amazing boy. I should mention my name, it's Kate by the way.
~~~~Before I met him~~~~
I used to live in Chicago IL where everything was going great for me. I had an amazing boyfriend, named Dylan and I was pretty much the most popular girl in the seventh grade. I had two best friends, Erin and Mackenzie (everyone called her Mack). They weren't my posse or anything like in the movies, we were like three peas in a pod. Dylan played basketball and baseball and I was the star player in basketball. I was number 7. Basketball is pretty much my way to tune everyone and everything out if I need to. Regionals were starting soon and I was pumped! Mack played with me and I have to say she is pretty good to.
Regionals was a week away and I was so excited. I was listening to music on my iPod and was singing along to say something. "Iiii will stumble and---" I was interrupted by a knock on my door.
"Kate, sweetie? Open up its mom." I took out my earphones and opened the door
"Yea?" I said to her.
"Let's sit on your bed. I have some important news for you." She said to me. We walked over to my bed and sat down.
"What's the news mom?" I asked her, wondering if it was good or bad.
"Well, dad is getting a new job in North Carolina. We are going to have to move there because it's a really big thing for him. I already have our plans set out and I've picked out a wonderful house in Mooseville NC."
I was shocked. This can't really be happening!!! I have a boyfriend and best friends here! Why is this happening to me?
"What!? We can't MOVE to North Carolina!!"
"I'm sorry sweetie we have to." She patted me on the back and stood up. "We are leaving tomorrow so that leaves you tonight to pack and say your goodbyes. I'm sorry we have to go so soon."
She walked out of my room and shut my door quietly. I immediately texted Erin, Mack, Dylan, Skylar, Maddie, and Hope.
"Guys I'm so sorry. I hav 2 leave 4 NC tommorow! Come to my place at 6 I need to say goodbyes." I sent it to all of them quickly. It was 530 now so I got some chips and salsa (my fave) and some sodas. They all showed up by 6 o'clock sharp. First Dylan came in. I jumped into his arms and tears came streaming down my face.
"I will miss you so much." He said as he let go of me.
"I will miss you more" I cried.
I hadn't noticed all the rest come in. We all sat down and said nothing, until Maddie broke the silence.
"When are you leaving tomorrow?" She asked.
"10 am" I said.
"We will all miss you" Erin and Mack said together. We all laughed but stopped because it was so sad that I had to leave. I couldn't bear to leave them tomorrow.
"Make sure you text us" said Hope.
"Yea I will really miss you" said Skylar.
"Guys, you should go. I can't bear to leave you and seeing you makes me even sadder" I said to them.
"We understand" Erin said. They all give my a huge hug and Dylan kisses me.
He whispered "Does this mean........"
" I think" I said. He let's go of me and they all say goodbye.
"Goodbye" I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.
