The next day my bags were all ready and packed for Mooseville. I was so sad because I had to leave Dylan and break up with him, and leave all my friends. I was literally miserable. Why was it my dad who had to get upgraded in his job!!! Ugh, I hope North Carolina is fun. But what I'm really bummed about is Regionals I won't be able to play! It's 6 am now and we are leaving here at 7. I can't believe I'm really leaving for good.

Our new house will be already furnished, so that's something to look forward to. Me, my mom and my dad hopped on the plane and we took off. Bye bye Chicago. Well, maybe North Carolina won't be so bad after all.

The plane landed, and I got off. I looked around and a tear rolled down my cheek.

"What's wrong honey?" Asked my dad.

"I miss home already" I said to him miserably.

"You will be fine. Your new principal said your new school was great, and you will make friends fast! Plus we have lots of neighbors, so you will find a way and there is a basketball team! So that's a plus right?"

I nodded and we got in a new car. It must be our new car. It's pretty nice I guess.

The car drove for about 30 minutes and we were finally here. It was about 11am here. We pulled into a little subdivision called West Point. Seemed nicer than my old one. There was a park with a pond, Swingset, trees everywhere and very nice houses. We pulled into a brick house that was really pretty. The car stopped and I unbuckled.

"Here we are Kate!!" Mom said to me.

"Looks nice" I responded.

"Told you she would like it" mom said to dad.

I jumped out of the car and looked around. I saw someone peeping threw the house right in front of mine, and all I could see is beautiful blue eyes.
