While getting ready for school I still couldn't help think about the background so I decided to text my father.

Can you please at least tell me one of the things on one of her parent's background?
I read the text over again and I pretty much soon regret it because I was invading in her personal space. My father took a while to text back so I just took the things I needed in my backpack and shoved it in. I got to school a little quicker than usual in hopes of seeing Alexis. But when she was in my site my phone started to ring.

Her father abused her and her mother. He was suppose to go to jail but somehow he didn't have to. It seemed her mother didn't want to press charges and he just kept living with them even now.
I couldn't help but read the words even now over and over again. Why doesn't she try to get a place or ask for help? She is a grown woman now so she should speak up.
"Alexis can I talk to you for a second?" I asked while walking up to her.
Alexis just smiles and moves her way towards me.
"What is it Yunho?"
I couldn't tell her that I know that she was or is even being abused. I couldn't help but look at her clothes. She is wearing a shirt with jacket and not to mention jeans.
"I want to come over to your place."
Alexis' eyes got big for a minute but nothing else in her face changed.
"Yunho. I don't think that is a good idea so please don't ask. I won't even be stay long at school today because I need to worry about things about home."
I can't understand why she won't tell me. I want to be there to help her in some way. Like protecting her or letting her move in with me. The woman I love is right in my grasp and I can't even help because she won't let me. And the fact that I can't just tell her what I know.
"Just please come over tonight and just let me cook dinner or do something."
Alexis sighs, "Yunho I was at your house not to long ago. I don't see the need for dinner so just tell me the real reason."
I just wrap my arms around her waist and pull her close to me. She didn't say or fight about it. She just let me embrace her and I badly wanted to keep her to myself. After a few minutes of not saying anything should looked up to me and nodded.
"I will take that as a yes so join me for class together. I want to keep you to myself today."
She said yes and went to go make a call. Maybe I am over thinking or overreacting a little bit more than should I despite not knowing her to long. But I really want to put a stop to her getting hurt but why won't she let me. I know she might have some trust issues and other sort of issues. Though I want her to know that I'm here to stay and not some guy he would get sick of trying to help her out.
"Yunho I will be joining you for you classes but you have to keep me entertained." Alexis said while making her way over towards me.
"You got it baby." I wink while taking her hand.
She laughed and lightly punched me in the arm. I just smiled because at least I can make her happy while she is with me.
