I shut and lock the door tightly behind me. There's been multiple break ins recently and I don't want to chance it. The morning air smells sweet and damp and the ground is crip and icy. Its freezing. I shiver but cannot put anything more on. Not until my Event. I walk to my school and meet up with Louise, my best friend, in the girls toilet. She's applying more make up to her already perfect face. Her eyes shine light blue in the mirror and are perfectly outlined in eyeliner and eyeshadow. Her slim lips are painted pink and her face is flawless, not a single pore or spot in sight. She fluffs up her blonde hair and it falls into place around her shoulders.
"Hey Perrie." she says spinning away from the mirror to greet me. I breifly seee my reflection in the mirror. I look a state. My hair is messed up from the wind and there are bags under my eyes. Oh well.
"Theres a new boy in school. I saw him." Louise says smiling, bearing her pearly white teeth. "He's quite cute too..but apparently he already has a girlfriend from his old school. I haven't actually spoken to him, but he seems like a nice guy."
