I woke up earlier then I normally wold because I couldn't sleep very well...
Ok thats a lie I went out again in the middle of the night, I've been doing this very often lately because I'm still working on my transformation skills.
As I was walking down the corridor I herd my mother get out of bed she was trying to wake up my father but it didn't seem to be working so I divided into my mum and dads room and jumped on my father screaming at him to get up.
"Ok,Ok. Im up" he said his words muffled by the pillow I giggled then I immediately remembered something.
"Omg, It's my eleventh birthday today I completely forgot" I gasped jumping out of my mothers and fathers bed rushing down the stairs to fined a letter on the living room coffee table as I walked closer to it my mother and father came down the stars with a present in there arms, it was a pretty big present.
"Wait, open this first" my mother said in a kind voice that she has
"Ok"
My mother put the box on the floor, it had black rapping paper and a green sparkly ribbon tied around it, I pulled the ribbon off it first, but before I could open it the lid of the box came up slightly and I saw a black feathered wing come out of the box I lifted the lid slowly and inside was with a beautiful black owl with big blue eyes it was small so it couldn't be that old.
"His name is midnight" my dad said proudly, probably because he named him
"I love him so much, thank you" I said almost crying
Then I remembered the letter on the coffee table, I dashed over to the table and grabbed the letter, I was so excited to see what was inside even though I kinda already knew what it was, I hesitate to open it.
It said
To Miss (Y/N) Clearwater.
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts school of
Witchcraft and wizardry please find enclosed a lost of all books and equipment.
Term begins 1st September and we await your owl no later then 31st July.
