Chapter 3

As Snowflake and Leaflet flew through the night. Snowflake started to think. What will being an element do with my life? Why did the past elements choose me? All of a sudden, Snowflake felt a rush of dizziness. Her wings locked up and she began to fall. "Snowflake!" yelled Leaflet. As Snowflake fell, she had another vision. She could see the fire wolf again. He was laying there still with the chains hooked to him. Then the wolf weakly looked up in her direction and weakly whined as its head fell. She could hear her name "Snowflake!" Leaflet yelled. Snowflake open her eyes and made her wings flap and she caught herself a few hundred feet from hard earth. She looked at Leaflet. "I saw a fire wolf. I have seen him before in another vision before I turned. "Leaflet looked at her and said, "That's Blaze our brother. Is he ok?" "No, he is chained up and weak." proclaimed Snowflake. Leaflet looked at the ground and signed. "We have to hurry." she said. They started flying again. Snowflake did not know why she had been chosen but it was already becoming an adventure. As they flew, Leaflet stopped and started turning her ears. "I hear some thing or someone." Snowflake began looking around, but nothing was there. Then out of nowhere, a black creature ran by them and then back again. Leaflet started to laugh and she yelled, "Shadow what's up. Good we found you." Snowflake watched the black creature. She giggled and flapped her wings, which were black in color with purple patches. She looked like a shadow for sure with a purple here and there and she had a big odd symbol on her chest. "Hello dear sister." said Shadow with a ghostly voice. Snowflake kept watching Shadow not sure what to make of the dark wolf. "Hello Shadow I'm Leaflet and this is Snowflake." said Leaflet. The ghostly voice spoke, " Hello Snowflake and Leaflet." " We are headed to find the others. Are you coming with us?" "Why yes of course." said Shadow. Leaflet nodded and open her wings and took off. Snowflake opened hers and flapped and felt herself rise into the sky and Shadow slapped her wings and started flying. Shadows wings looked like a hummingbirds wing, you couldn't see them as they flapped. Snowflake looked at the ground and took in the beauty of the forest they were flying over. It was so quiet. She looked up and looked at the stars. She was so close that she thought she could touch them. They flew and flew until they came to a city. Not sure where they were Snowflake looked around. She saw a sign. It read New York Central Park. Snowflake couldn't believe that they had flown that far. The city was alive with movement. "Where would we find the other three?" asked Leaflet. "Three? Who are the other three?" asked Snowflake. Leaflet looked at her and said, " Sky, Wave, and Blaze. They are our brothers and Wave our sister." "We know that Blaze has been captured and Sky and Wave we don't know where they are." Snowflake shook her head in reply. "I don't even know what they look like, besides Blaze." said Snowflake. "Well Sky is white looking with wings with a little Grey in his fur and Wave she can be in water or land. She'll have a fish tail in water and out she will have 4 legs. Just look for their symbols." said Leaflet. "So... what are their symbols?" Snowflake asked. "Oh yea sorry. Wave's symbol looks like a wave of water, it's on her chest, and Sky's is a three spiral looking thing. Like a fidget spinner." Snowflake shook her head. Not sure what to say. "Ok well let's stop for a good night's rest and then keep looking in the morning." suggested Snowflake. "Sounds good to me." replied Leaflet. "I sleep during the day, so I'll keep watch." said Shadow. As they settled down Snowflake had so many question but was so tired from flying she went right to sleep.
