AN: This story is part of a three part collab written with my friends Katrina (TheAmazingKatrona) and Samantha (AutumnHeather). The stories will follow the same three main characters along a similar plotline. But each will be from a different point of view. They will make sense alone but are best read together.  Also I'd like to apologise for being the last to upload by a long long shot, to Sammy and Kat and also to those who have already read theirs.

Good morning star shine, the earth says hello -A

I quickly send the two texts off while my boss isn't watching. Plastering a smile back on my face I smooth down my ugly, blue uniform turning around to help the single customer in the cramped shop.

'Chilly weather out there isn't it?'

I chirp, smiling politely as the woman nods and carries on with her shopping, pointing to the glass bottle, shaped intricately to capture the attention of buyers (guess it worked). As I reach up I feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket. A text from Somnus, I know without even checking. She always texts back, she's the only reason even I bother texting each morning. She makes me feel less alone. Spiro never bothers. Guess she has more important things to do with her life, like contemplating the human existence.

The woman took her time to smell each and every perfume before leaving empty handed.

Sighing I pull out my phone to read Sommy's text

Good morning, how's the shop?-Sommy

I quickly text back,

Slow, some lady just came in, spent twenty minutes sniffing every perfume we have then left without buying anything, and oh my god you should have seen what she was wearing. It was this horrible yellow jacket, all poofy and awful and... wait for it... green. trousers. Ew. -A

Looking around at the empty store I resign myself to a day of cleaning. I grab the dustpan and brush and begin the mind-numbingly dull task of cleaning the entire shop. Only 6 hours left  of this. Not including my hours break. Ugh.

My phone buzzes again, then again

Some people just get there colours all wrong-Sommy

*their-Spi

Of course, the text Spiro decides to send is correcting Somnus' grammar. How predictable.

Hey, nice of you to join us Spi. Som, you want to come to mine and Spi's flat tonight? We haven't celebrated your graduation yet.-A

Alea do we really have to invite company over? When I'm ill.-Spi

Company? It's just Sommy. She's moving in with us in like a month for pete's sake. Spi didn't think that through.

I think about our weird friendship. We all seem so different.  With our separate lives; Spiro keeping to herself, only talking to anyone properly when it's just the three of us; Somnus, with her doctor thingy... y'know the brain thing, neuro-thingy; I don't even know about me. I just get on with my life I guess. Keeping up this rubbish job on minimum wage, it's all I've got really besides those two. They kind of keep me going in this crap world. Course, don't tell them that. It will really go to Spiro's head. She's already too interested in herself. Buzz

We don't have to DO anything, you could stay in your room, I just want to see you guys-Sommy

Ugh, Spi is so anti-social, it's not like she even really does anything alone in her room. She barely leaves it though, it can be kinda strange. But that's Spiro I guess. If you're friends with Spi then you have to get used to the strange.

You guys all packed and ready for Amsterdam? I am! I'm so freaking excited guys :D -A

See, Sommy has just finished Uni she is now a fully-fledged sciency person, so to celebrate we're all of to Amsterdam. Somnus mentioned she wanted to visit the place after reading this book she liked.

Something in our stars I think it was... I dunno, she liked the book as far as I can remember. Anytime it was mentioned she got really happy, then really sad then ordered Spiro and I to read it. I will soon I think, but I'm way too busy with work at the moment.

Speaking of work, someone is actually buying something. I never thought this day would come. It's always so quiet, if you ask me it's because it smells funny here. Who cares though, I get paid whether people buy or not. I'll get a new job soon if I can, to be honest I hate working here. I needed the money though, for Amsterdam. After that I'm free to quit and to find a better one I don't loathe as much. Soon.

I watch the minutes slowly edge closer to the end of my shift. 30 minutes... 20 minutes... 15 minutes.. 3.. 2...1..

Ah freedom.

Home, finally.

That was dreadful. I'm so exhausted, standing up all day really takes the energy out of you. Ugh, another wasted day in that bloody shop. To make thing more rubbish I'm pretty sure Spi's asleep already. I guess there's not going to be any celebration tonight then.

I could really have done with a distraction from this bore of a life.

My mind's starting to go slowly from lack of sleep now so, I guess it's probably for the best. I'll just quicky change into my pjamas and... my bed's so comfy. Snuggling down ready for a good nights sleep. Thank goodness I'm not working tomorow.

On the edge of consiouness funny tang reaches my nose. It smells like clean, but chemically. Hand gel? No. Disinfectant maybe? I'm too tired to figure it out. I'll have a look in the morning I guess. Yeah, in the morning sounds good. For now, I'll sleep.
