She's The One

So Far, So Good

"KRYSTA! GET UP! WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!" I yell at Krysta who is still passed out. If it's going to be this hard to get her up every morning, it's going to be rough every morning for the rest of the time she's here. I get dressed and make her and I a little something to eat. Finally after almost 20 minutes, Krysta has made her way down stairs. "You made me something to eat? Aw that's cute, but I'm not really hungry." "Really? Well that's fine, I'll just throw it away, no big deal" I say taking the food I made her to the garbage.

"Lexa, I miss you. We need to get together after school, I feel like I haven't spent much time with you"

"Well you've been so busy with your new friend, you've had no time for me. I've been here, it's you who hasn't been around. Don't forget to remember me!"

"Sorry, you know I love you!" I give Lexa a big hug and promise her we will hang out after school.

I really do miss her, and she's probably right, I've been spending so much time with Krysta; too much time is spent with her and not Lexa. I miss my best friend. She's always been there for me, from breaking my arm to getting my heart broken. That girl with always have a special place in my heart.

"Krysta, I'm going to be with Lexa this afternoon. If you need me to drive you to my place or home, I will. It will be no big deal, but if I take you to your place, I'll come and pick you up at about 8 if that's cool."

"Yeah, no big deal. Thank you, Tara." She said with a shocked look on her face. I feel bad, but at the same time I want my best friend and I to spend time together. After the bell rings, I go and meet up with Lexa and afterwards find Krysta. We all get into my car and I drive Krysta to her place.

"See you at 8 boo!"

"Bye, love ya!"

Lexa looks at me and laughs. "You gotta be kidding me right? You only say love ya to me. I don't want to be replaced, Tara." Lexa says in a sad tone. "Oh calm down, nobody can replace my bestest friend! I love you more than anybody I know. Even though it seems like I'm putting her before you right now, I'll always put you first because that's what in here for" I tell her reaching over to give her a hug.

"Oh my god, I remembei that night too!" Lexa says bursting out laughing. "Yes, it was the best! We got so drunk and I was so sick the next morning, but you laid in bed and watched me feel like shit" I said almost peeing myself. "Hey now! I was like half asleep still, you can't blame me!" "Oh I love you so much, we are going to hang out this Saturday for sure. No breaking the plans!" I make sure she knows that her Saturday is reserved for me. "I LOVE YOU MY BABY!" She says giving me a tight hug. My best friend is my favorite person.

'Text message from Krysta'

Krysta: hey.. um I think I'm going to stay home tonight

Me: why?): is everything ok boo?

Krysta: of course, I just don't feel the best..

Me: I can take care of you silly

Krysta: no its okay, I just want to be home. good night, I'll see you tomorrow.

Me: I'll miss you tonight then! I hope you feel better, are you sure nothing's wrong?.. 

I didn't get a reply back from her for the rest of the night so I decided to just go to bed for the night.
