{Devin's POV} It was about lunch time and I was heading over to were my friends sit, with Scarlet , Jake,and Julie. As usual Julie was chatting away to Scarlet witch had her sandwich still in her mouth not listing but still looking at Julie, and of course Jake waiving his hand in the air for me to come sit with them. So I sat were Scarlet saved a seat for me. Jake put his hand down once I sat down. When Julie was done talking to Scarlet she turned to me and asked "did you get anything she was saying?" I laughed and ate my food. Time went by and me and Scarlet were still talking to each other. Every time me and Scarlet talk its like I'm in space or something ,but I'm not sure that's what she feels. Some more time went by and lunch was over and me and Scarlet were walking together down the halls to get to are next class. In my mind I'm saying to my self "Man, I wish I could tell her how pretty she looks today, but if I tell her that she might think I like her!" When school was over Scarlet and me road the bus to her house to wait for my mom to come and pick me up.  {Scarlets POV}When we got in side of my house me and Devin got out our homework and did it together. But this time it felt different, like I wanted to get ...close,but not to close. Five minutes went by and his mom came to get him ,I said bye and he left and I ran to room not even knowing why? Next thing I know is a light was shinning out of my hand and all that could come out of my mouth was "this isn't normal!" I started freaking out still my eyes glued to my light out of my hand ............but then it stopped and went away. I knew if I told anyone even my mom that they would tell the government and they would use me for experiments!!!!! " I can't let that happen! " I was saying to my self. So the next day at school I wore gloves to hide it even if it didn't or did work.
