What is this?
The wind?
The sun?
Should I stay or should run?
When I stare in those brown eyes
I feel the trembling of a tree,
I feel the murmur of the sea,
I feel like mountains are some bees,
I feel the tremble of the trees.
The ocean runs
The mermaids scream
They hope to shatter my whole dream
They hope to bring me back to life
To throw me in the darkest hole
And leave me there
To dream no more.
But I swam away from them
Their fear to come here
Where I stand today
Is to big to defeat,
To powerful to deny.
But I no longer hear their voices
I can't smell
I can't hear
I can't touch, but I can fell
The burning sensation it gives
The staring
In your brown,
Eyes.
You raise your hand
I wonder
Will you release my soul?
You've trapped her
He can leave no more
I gasp and ask:
''What do you wish to do?''
My tail stays safely in the sea,
His feet are safely on the ground.
That makes me sad.
My heart pounds in my chest
In the rhythm of a blinking star.
''To touch your face.'' he says.
His voice: so soft, so strong, and yet so...earthy.
''To touch my face?' I ask, bewildered to the top of my grey tail.
''To touch your face,
To see your smile,
To fell your body next to mine.''
Why is my heart beating so fast?
The moment's here ...oh, at last!
The burning sand
It burns my hands,
He sees and puts them on his knees
His human flesh: so soft, so warm and yet so...earthy.
''Why are you sad?' I ask, looking at him.
I'm still not sure that I don't dream.
''I...'' he says, but stops.
''Love you.'' I sing to him,
With mermaid notes that make him dream.
He looks at me, amazed.
