You sat on your couch waiting on your boyfriend of 8 months Odell to walk through the door. You had to have a serious conversation with him. It was about you going public. You had now been dating long enough to where you knew it wasnt just a fling. He walked through the door of your apartment and sat beside you on the couch.
"Hey boo, how are you?" He asked kissing your lips.
"I'm good but we got to talk." You said.
"About?" He asked confused.
"Us." You said.
"What's wrong with us?" He asked now getting serious.
"I think it's time we go public." You said.
"Uh well I think we should wait a little longer." He said.
"Uh okay." You said feeling a little hurt that he didnt feel you were ready to go public.
Week Later
It had been a week since you brought up the subject to Odell. He had been going out at night and coming home early in the morning. You decided to go on instagram and see what he has been up to. When his page loaded you immediatley saw pictures of him with some females. You regretted even going onto instagram. You texted Odell telling him to come over and after he agreed you went upstairs and grabbed the things he left at your home. You put them in a duffel bag and sat it on the couch. You werent going to destroy his things because you didnt pay for them.
"I'm here!" His deep voice boomed through your silent apartment.
He walked into the living area seeing you sitting next to the duffel bag.
"What's this?" He asked pointing to the bag beside you.
"Your things." You said dryly.
"Nana what's going on?" He asked.
"Why don't you ask your hoes." You said tossing your phone at him which he caught and began to look through the photos.
"Nana it's not what you think." He said.
"Oh really because what I think is that those photos are the reason you didnt want to go public with me." You said.
"No I swear its not like that." He said.
"Get out." You said trying to remain calm.
"Nana." He said.
"Odell please." You said.
He grabbed his bag and set your phone on the coffee table and left.
Few days later
You had ignored Odell's numerous attempts to contact you. You needed time to think. You were watching TV when your phone went off.
Odell:
I know you are reading my text. Turn on ESPN.
You reluctantly turned it on and it was a interview with Odell. You turned the volume up.
"So any new women in your life?" The woman asked him.
"Uh Susan you know there is one speacial person in my life. I just hope I havent messed it up." He said.
"Go on." She said.
"Well a few weeks ago my wonderful girlfriend Nana asked me if we could go public after dating 8 months. I told her no and we got into an arguement about other girls on my instagram. I want to publicly apologize to her. I love you Nana i dont know what I would do without you. Please forgive me. Go to your door." He said.
By this time you were in tears. You got up and ran to your door as soon as you swung it open Odell was there.
"Please forgive me." He said.
"Of course I will." You said hugging him.
