~ The Beach Trip ~

The sun began to rise, shining brightly over the seven fairy tail friends. Erza, Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Levy and Gajeel were outside holding some bags, going to go the beach for the day. Erza had arranged the plans to go, and she prepared a special surprise for herself. She invited Jellal to come. Him coming was a secret to everyone else though.

"Okay, let's go everyone!" Erza says.

"YEAH!" Everyone shouts.

They all hop in the seven seater car and Erza takes off. Gray ends up taking over the wheel because Erza was going a bit out of control and she didn't know the way to the beach.

They arrive at the beach with the sun high in the sky. It was really hot and perfect for a swim. Gray immediately stripped and ran into the water. Natsu and Gajeel went after him. Lucy, Juvia and Levy got changed into a bikini and sat down, sun baking. Lucy looked over to Erza and saw her looking around.

"What's wrong, Erza?" She asks.

"Come join us!" Levy insists.

"I will, soon enough." Erza replies. She changes into a bikini and walks around, searching for Jellal.

Feeling a tap on her shoulder she turns around and sees Jellal there.

He smiles, "Hello, Erza."

"Jellal!" She says with excitement. "Glad you made it."

"I couldn't miss it."

Jellal looks over to his left, and sees Natsu, Gray and Gajeel in the water fighting. Then he looks beyond Erza and sees Lucy, Juvia and Levy having a drink. It made him think that things were rather crowded. This gave him an idea.

"Erza, would you like to-"

"Hey! Look! It's Jellal!" Natsu shouts, interrupting Jellal.

"Oh yeah!" Gray replies.

Gajeel smirks and gets out of the water, coming towards Jellal and Erza. He grabs Jellal by his arm, and drags him in the water. Gajeel began to laugh then threw Jellal to Natsu and Gray. They all started fighting again making huge waves surrounding them. Erza sighed then watched the boys fight. It made her smile, seeing everyone get along. After a few moments she felt someone place their hand on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Levy.

"Invited Jellal, ey?" Levy said with a sly look on her face.

"Eh!?"

"And you didn't tell us..." Lucy says.

"You want him all to yourself." Juvia adds on. "Not that Juvia cares though. As long as it's not my Gray-sama~"

"G-guys..." Erza coughs out, feeling really embarrassed. They sat down, and forced Erza to tell her intentions.

Time passed and Jellal came out of the water. He walked towards Erza while water was dripping down his body. She looked at him and blushed a little. Moving her gaze towards the ground she handed him a towel. He noticed Erza blushing, and it made him blush too. "Th-thank you." He manages to say.

Trying to get over her embarrassment and act normal, Erza asks, "Well, how was it in the water?"

"It was somewhat torture, but good training in a way too." Jellal replies.

They both look at each other, then Jellal remembers the idea he had.

"Can you come with me for a second?" He asks her, reaching his hand out.

"Oh... sure." Erza answers, grabbing Jellal's hand. He pulls her up, and they begin to walk away from the group.

"Where are we going?" Erza curiously asks.

"Wait and see." Jellal answers, not saying any more. It made Erza a little confused, but she rolled with it.

They got to a little but steep hill and Jellal pointed to the top of it. "Up there."

Once they got up there, they stopped and took a look at the amazing view of the sunset.

"Pretty, right?" Jellal says.

"Yeah... It's so beautiful." Erza replies.

"Although... It's not as beautiful as you."

Erza furiously blushes while Jellal looks at her and giggles.

"And you're really cute when you're flustered." He continues on.

Erza hugged him and mumbled, "Stop... This is too much..."

"Haha, are you trying to hide your face from me?" Jellal teased her.

"...That's only part of it."

Jellal froze, and Erza let go of him. They were both silent for a little bit, until, "We should probably head back now." Erza suggested.

Jellal didn't say anything. Erza looked directly in his eyes, then turned around taking her first step away. Before she could go anywhere, Jellal grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into his embrace, connecting his lips with her's. Erza's eyes widen in shock. Jellal unlocks lips and leans his forehead on her's.

Smiling, he says, "Is this the other part?"

Erza gazes into his eyes and pulls a little smile. "You know me too well."

Wrapping her arms around his neck she connects lips with him.

"Hey, where is Erza and Jellal?" Gray asked.

Levy replied, "Haha, those two love birds?"

"They went off together." Lucy continued.

"Guys, don't worry about them." Natsu said. "Let them have their time. They'll join us after Jellal asks her the question."

"What question?" Juvia asked.

"The one that begins the relationship."
