So how exactly did this happen...? It happened on one day, a day when the water arena is there...
On a fine morning, the king woke up and decided to have a battle with someone. He walked down to get his crown but something was wrong. Very wrong indeed... He saw water! Glancing out of the window, he saw that the whole arena was flooded.
I can only use air troops now, the king thought. The first match went terribly wrong. As he is new to this arena--- He has not unlocked cards from the arena. The opponent used some new troops such as crocodile which can swim in water and damages like a pekka. The only troops that can attack it is mega minion and minions. By the end of the day, he lost more than 1000 trophies.
One day, he started to have an idea. It started from using a catapult to launch troops. But the bad thing is that the troops will land face first into the ground and the troops are too heavy. He thought and thought until he found a troop that is light enough to land without getting damaged----the goblins.
Over the years, after the water arena became goblin arena because of the intense heat, the goblin-catapult idea became a card. It is now called the goblin barrel.
