The Sun and the Moon.

(Not a Pokemon story)
-Inspired by the quote "Tell me the story, of how the sun loved the moon so much, he died every night just to let her breathe"

-I was thinking of sad music before writing this so.. That's why it's emotional.

The fight was awful.

It lasted for hours.

Ladybug was sure this was her end.

But before the final blow hit her, Cat Noir stepped in a took her place......
Then it was over.

Marinette could hear the beeping in the hospital room. But nothing could distract her from him. There, so helplessly, Adrien lay.

The doctors had told her that he may not make it.

But she refused to believe it.

She refused to believe that everything they went through was over.

"Adrien Please! Wake up!" She shouted desperately.

"We did it Adrien! We defeated Hawkmoth.." Her voice went quiet as she felt tears begin to wet her eyes. Her voice began to shake.

"You have to wake up.." Tears were falling now.
"You can't leave me!"

Marinette wiped her tears away. Her voice was shaking, her heart was breaking.

"Adrien you are my sun,"

"There's a old quote that goes, the sun loved the moon so much..h-he d-died ev-very night..... Just to let her breathe"

"You gave up everything, just to see me shine.."
"And like the sun... You bring me warmth and light..."

Marinette began to sob.

"Adrien... Why did you have to be the sun?"
"Why did you have to let me breathe..."
"Why couldn't the sun and the moon be together..."

Like that Marinette broke. Like the strings holding her heart together snapped.
She sobbed and cried into Adrien's chest.
And she stayed there, for what seemed ages.

"The reason why.." A shaky voice shocked Marinette as she looked up. "I let you shine..." It was Adrien!

"Is because you are the most amazing girl in the world. And the world deserves to see you soar."

"Because you are my moon, Marinette."Adrien smiled. "And like the moon, you are a beacon of light in the darkness..."

Tears of pain quickly turned to tears of joy.

"Adrien!" Marinette exclaimed, engulfing him in a hug. Which Adrien gladly replied.

"I love you.." Marinette spoke...no softer than a whisper.
"I love you too." Adrien said holding her close.
