*Spain's P.O.V*

I jolted awake as the front door was slammed open, and an enraged Lovino(1) stormed through the entrance.

I quickly jumped up from the chair,  rubbing my eyes tiredly as he stomped through the living room, throwing his jacket on the armchair I had previously inhabited.

"Lovi? S'wrong?" I asked, sleep slurring my words together.

"Don't call me by that damned nickname, Bastard!" He yelled before slamming his room door shut.

"That went well. " I said to no-one as I sat back down on the chair, moving Lovi's jacket out of the way.

I have no clue as to why he is back so early, I wasn't expecting him to be home until tomorrow afternoon.

After a while I began to hear various crashes and yells coming from Lovi's room, and immediately knew that he was throwing and breaking stuff again.

I sighed quietly before standing and walking over to his room door, knocking on it.

The crashing stopped, along with any noise he had been making.

"Leave me alone."

I hesitated for a moment.. I know he would be mad if I opened the door after he told me to go away, but the poor kid needs someone to comfort him.

I opened the door cautiously, only to slam it shut quickly as a book was whipped at me.

The loud 'bang' of the book hitting the door echoed through the house, causing me to flinch.

"Jesus, Lovi! That could've hit me!" I remarked, opening the door again as I stepped inside his room.

"That's what I was aiming for, idiot." He spat, staring at me with crossed arms.

I glanced around his room, taking it all in.

His mirror was yet again broken, and shards of glass were scattered across the floor.

His book shelf was tipped over, as books were strewn everywhere.

My eyes slowly wandered across the walls, searching for new holes that had been made.

Thankfully, it appeared that he had not punched another hole in the wall.

I stepped forward, reaching out to put a hand on his shoulder, to comfort him, but he stepped away.

"Don't fucking touch me." He snarled, glaring at me.

I dropped my arm to my side in defeat, once again looking around his room.

"Lovino.." I sighed,  looking over at him just in time to see him hurriedly look away from me.

"Just get out." He replied, gesturing towards the door.

I nodded slowly, turning towards the door.

As I was opening the door, I heard a quiet sniffle come from behind me.

Along with something that sounded along the lines of 'Please don't leave me.'

I turned back around, and the sight before me broke my heart.

Lovino was on his knees, his head in his hands as sobs wracked his body.

I rushed to his side, dropping to my knees and pulled him into my arms.

"F-Fucking bastard! Let me- Let me go!" He yelled, trying to push me away, but I just held him tighter, holding back my own tears.

"Lovi.. Little Lovi.. What has made you so sad?" I asked quietly, rubbing circles on his back.

"Il mio stupido fratello, Ecco cosa!(2)"

He shouted, anger and sadness colouring his voice.

I frowned, I should've known it had something to do with his brother..

"What did Feli(3) do this time..?" I questioned, glancing down at him.

"It's just- Just why does he always say nice things about that stupid fucking bastardo Germany, and not me?! Why does- Why does he hate me so much?! Why does everyone hate me?!" He screamed into my chest, clenching at the hem of my t-shirt.

"... Romano.." At me using his country name, he looked up at me, his eyes red from crying.

"Nobody hates you, Lovi. How could they? Sure, you have one hell of a temper, but that's just one of your traits. I don't hate you, In fact, You're one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me.. I don't know what I'd do without you, Romano." I murmured, stroking his back.

His face heated up in a bright blush as he pushed me away, looking away from me.

"... Fucking bastard! I'm not fucking blushing- I DON'T FUCKING CARE WHAT YOU SAY, WHY WOULD I?! GET THE FUCK OUT!" He screamed, obviously embarrassed.

I stood, smiling at him as I walked to the door.

"You'll be alright, Right my Lovi~?"

"DON'T FUCKING CALL ME THAT!"

I closed the door, snickering as I rubbed the back of my neck, where the book he had thrown at me struck.

".. I'll be fine, Bastardo." Lovi whispered, just loud enough for me to hear him.

I walked away back to the living room, smiling to myself.

He may be a handful, but he truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
