They released me from the hospital today. I guess there is a fancy dance today and I told crazy boy I would go with him. "She needs to get her memory back, and to do that we need to take her to familiar places and see familiar people." Said the doctor. I rode home with Miss. Patty as she told me my life story. " Well I must have had a bad time, good thing I don't remember that." She told me about the dance tonight and how she bought me a dress. I got to her apartment and walked into my room. I look on my bed and saw this pretty blue dress. It had a silver belt and it was perfect. I looked at the time. it was 12 and crazy boy is picking me up at 4 for dinner. I took a shower and blow dried my hair. I curled my hair and put my makeup on. I looked for a cute necklace to wear and put the locket on. I looked at the time and it said 3:45. I put on my dress, heels, and grabbed the flats. I came out to craz I mean Luke in the living room. He asked how I was feeling and I said pretty good. We stood for pictures and I acted like everything was fine. Miss. Patty waved and said have fun and we were on our way.
"So um... you like pasta?"
"I don't care up to you." I said
"It doesn't matter."
We sat in silence then I thought, he is a guy, and guys usually like wings right?
"What about bdubs?"
He looked at me and smiled. "Sure."
We drove for alittle then he asked me if I remember anything from the crash. I said no silently.
"Well I will explain it from my prospective. I was driving down the road when I came up to a four way interception. I went to cross and a car was coming down the road on my right. I thought they were going to stop and they didn't. I went to come out to see if the people were okay then I saw you. You were bleeding everywhere and trying not to pass out. Jane was crying and in shock. I tried to open your door but it would not open. You were loosing consciousness and I punched the window open. Then you passed out. My car was damaged badly but Jane's car was totaled. They rushed you to the hospital. And yeah" I looked at him as he pulled into the parking lot. I got out of the car and told him I needed to use the bathroom. I rushed in the bathroom and shut the door. I tried to remember, come on remember I said to myself. I sighed and walked out. Luke was talking to the waitress and told her to get fried pickles. I looked at him and smiled. I love fried pickles. She came back with the pickles and we ordered. We talked about previous dates, how we met, and what I can remember. " Honestly I don't remember much of anything." I took off my locket and asked him if he knew who they were. " Abby these are your parents" "The dead ones?" I asked. He nodded and the waitress dropped off our food. Luke was watching the football game on TV while I just thought. He paid, tip the waitress and off to the dance we go. We drove in mostly silence and listened to music. We pulled up to the school parking lot and we walked up to the ticket booth. "Tickets plea... oh hey Abby honey how you feeling?" I looked at her blankly and said good. "She doesn't remember anything." " Oh I'm sorry to hear that, well have fun." I turned said thank you and looked at Luke. " Who was that?" She is our History teacher. I nodded my head and walked in. A bunch of people waved and asked how I was. " I'll go grab some punch." Said Luke. I nodded and sat down. This is going to be a long night.
