Reuniting With My Mother but with a Huge Twist

Day One

4:37 p.m

I parked my Chevrolet car on the front of the garage and saw my mother running towards me. Yelling my name like crazy. Crying like a little kid asking for a cotton-candy in a carnival after the ride. "Isabelle!" she says while hugging me and kissing my cheeks. She checks me everywhere if I was okay. "Oh, honey. I missed you like crazy. How was living with your father?"

"Dad was awesome better than here," I told her.

"Isabelle, why do you always talk to me like that way? Is it because of me and your father, because it didn't work out between us."

"No, because you cheated on him with some guy you just barely even know," I corrected her and gave my best fake smile I have been practicing when I got here inside of my car.

She silent and walked out but I followed behind her. "So...mother of mine, did you change anything from my bedroom?" I questioned her.

"Yes...I thought you were going to stay with your father for a long time."

"Mom...am I supposed to sleep on the floor? You literally forgot about Joeri and me. What kind of mother are you?"

"A good one, she said.

"A wicked one," I giggled and went upstairs, to the hall to my left. There it was, my half empty bedroom. Why was mom thinking of moving or throwing away my stuff without my fucking permission.

The reason I'm here with six months is because I am soon going to college and this will the last time I will ever see my father and my 'dearest mother.' I really wish I wasn't here. I could be right at this moment playing baseball with Joey A.K.A Joeri.

He could know he cheated on the game. I know he cheats baseball points away from me. That's why I love him so much. But since his under age and he didn't even want to see mom. So, I needed to force myself to come here in L.A, California and my dad is sick in Colorado.

Dad said he was really sick but that I shouldn't be worried about him. How cannot I not worry about him? Joey, is only 16 and he can't even take care of himself. So I let a voicemail and two message to my best friend Allyson.

"Isabelle, I want you to meet my future to be husband."

I looked up and saw this sexy-adorable-hunky-guy that my mother fell in love. "Is this a joke?"

"Honey, is no joke. Look," she shows me her engagement ring. "We're marring in a year since I have things to do before we start our wedding. Are you surprise?"

"Mom..." I looked up at him again. "Never mind. I rather sleep with some Twilight characters guys than watching this hilarious moment," I walked passed them and I laughed so hard that I almost tripped down.

"Excuse me, miss." I turned around and he followed me behind. "I didn't introduced myself, my name is Benjamin Kurtman. I'm a doctor." Wow. A doctor? What A Surprise to hear!

"I know your name is Isabelle," I turned around and he smiled.

"Look, Benji. I'm just here to get myself together. I don't need details of how you and my fucking mother found each other. Again, no details," I smiled and went outside to get my things.

"My name is Benjamin and I'm trying to get along with you as possible. You see, I'm deeply in love with your mother and I know we only met five months and a half but I feel so sure that I did the right thing to get married with her. I'm just letting you know," I sighed and turned around to his gorgeous baby-blue eyes where I suddenly felt shaky for a minute.

"You know...what do you see in her? Her wrinkled body or face or her wicked personality. What was it?"

"Her sweetness," there I laughed as more harder when I found Benjamin engaged my mother 10 minutes ago. "And her beauty."

"Seriously, dude. Someday she'll dumped you right in alter or maybe you will dumped her. I really don't care but I know someday one of you will get heartbroken and I won't be there to support you because I'm not that kind of person. I'm a rebel...I think we just got along perfectly. If you excuse me. I got unpacking to do, prince charming." I winked at him and got few of boxes.

Day Two

10:47 a.m

I have woken up with the sounds of my alarm. I uncovered out from my sheets and went downstairs with my purple robe on. I saw my mother smooching with Benji or Benny. Whatever his name is.

"Get a room. It's disgusting," I yelled at them.

"Honey, please come over here and let's talk about what happen yesterday. Ben forgives you of what you said yesterday and all I want is for you two get along and be friends," mom clapped her hands together with happiness.

"Hell to the no," I walked up to bedroom and locked my door. I took my phone and dialed Gabriel's number on my iPhone.

You see, Gabriel is one of my best friend since we were in diapers. We dated once but we thought it was too much weird and awkward.

When I told him that I was going to move to Colorado but got in touch only by texting because he didn't wanted to hear my voice because he feels it will break his little heart.

God...How I miss him so much...

"Hello?"

"Is this Gabriel Stone?" I said.

"Yes. May I ask who is speaking?"

"Of course. Where are my matters? My name is Isabelle Morrissey and I was wondering if my best friend in the whole world would love to hang out with me?"

"Belle...When did you came back to California?" he asks.

"Yesterday but only for six months until I say goodbye to my mother forever."

"Still mad with her?"

"Of course. She shouldn't have cheated on my father like that. And by the way, I was only twelve years old back then. She really hurt my father badly," I explained.

"Let's change the subject. Hey, how about we go surfing like the old times?" he said.

"You know it," I hanged up and got ready for surfing.

I walked out but someone pulled my arm and turned me around rapidly. "Where are you going?"

"Why should I tell you? You are not my father nor my friend to begin with. And I'm just going surfing with my friend," I said and snapped my arm back from him.

"Your mother asked me that I should hang out with you today," he yelled from the distance.

"Tell her that she can fuck herself," I winked at him and hopped to my car.
