Accidentally, Fell In Love For My Mother’s Boyfriend; CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Engagement Party And Food Fight…again?

Day Twenty-Three

3:18 p.m.

“Isabelle, when you finish cleaning Ben’s office. Pick a dress for tomorrow.” I glared at her and see her walking toward the front door of the house.

I sometimes wonder what does the bitch of my mother do for all this weeks that I been here. Is she prostituting herself for money? Could she sneak out and see her imagery lover ‘Steve’? I really want to answer all my questions inside my mind. Maybe, I could follow her today. I went upstairs and picked a spaghetti stripe white shirt with hearts blossoming and ripped jeans and yellow converse shoes. I know this outfit doesn’t go together but I’m not going to a cool or a fucking amazing party. I’m only following my mother. I really need to know how this ‘Steve’ looks like into my vision sight.

I went downstairs and sudden saw Benji placing this black leather suitcase on the kitchen’s counter. “Hey, Bells! Where are you going?” Should I tell him? I mean, Benji could help me. I guess not. Come on, Isabelle. Tell him or else he thinks of you as a liar. I sigh and walked towards him.

“I’m going to follow my mother and see who ‘Steve’ person is.” I told him.

“Bee, I think you should stay here and go to the pool. Outside is beautiful and lovely like you, Isabelle. Stay here and be with me.” He gave me the sad puppy love look. Snap of it, Isabelle.

“How about if you come with me and find out who Steve is and I promise I’ll be with you,” I tip-toed since his taller than me and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissed his nose.

“Fine but I hope we won’t get caught y cops for following my fiancé.” I rolled my eyes. He kisses my lips and goes upstairs to change to his casual outfit.

5:03 p.m.

Benji parked his vehicle far from my mother’s car. I could see that my mother went in to an expensive restaurant ‘Bienvenue, Bonjour à mon monde’ and smiling so happily.

“He’s not here, Bells. Let’s go back and sleep or something,” Benji said all so calm.

“Why are you so calm and not getting mad about this? You’re the one is going to marry her. Are you going to do something that you will regret?” I asked him.

“Bells, I’m giving her a second chance.” My eyes widen and my jaw dropped. How can he say that? How can he fucking say that? Doesn’t he know that I love him? He’s the one for me. I looked away from Benji and I let the silence break by itself. I saw a man with business suit walking in the restaurant. He was holding some white roses which I remember that my father gave my mother, her favorite white roses.

“Bells, is that him?” Benji broke the silence.

“Yes. He’s holding white roses that my mother loves so much. Oh, my God. I cannot believe this,” I said speechless. I couldn’t see his face. Its just too dark and there’s not that much light. “Let’s go home, Benji.” I sigh and lean my head back to the passenger’s seat behind me.

Day Twenty-Four

9:20 a.m.

“ISABELLE!!!” My mother shouts out. “ISABELLE!!!”

I took a peek out from my bedroom’s door and saw her holding her coffee mug. “What?”

“I’m going to work so please be ready for the Engagement party this afternoon.” She said in a smile.
