The Following Phantom

The Outside World

    I lock the door and head for the street I have not had a car in two years I never had a reason for one because I never left but today is a new day today I am done with that life I am a changed man.
    I look down and remember something I used to love about the outside world and that was going out to eat I keep walking until I hit town and I make a stop at the Burger Shot across from the bank there is only one girl in line I can't stop looking at her she is so beautiful but she looks very professional and most likely will want nothing to do with me she orders a shotgun burger with a large coke the same order I used to get.
    I walk up to the counter as she is leaving but my stupid self bumps into her I quickly say I'm sorry as her starlight eyes shine and stare into mine "its okay not the first time" my legs want to just collapse I can't be falling for this chick one day out it has not even been two hours and I'm falling in love no I can't go through that well I can't put her through my terrible life.
    I order my food and start my walk back home deciding that is enough for today I enjoyed it but so much has happened just today that I think its a good idea I head back.
    I slowly slump myself into the soft cushioned couch in the corner of my living room propping my feet up so I can eat taking my burger out you know everything that has happened today has made me forget about the phantom I might do it again tommarow.
