*camerons point of view*
She looks into my eyes. She has this look of concern in her face. I take a deep breath.
"I didnt get to properly ask you yesterday, but... Will you be my girlfriend?"
I bit my bottom lip and rubbed my neck a bit. She smiled.
"Why of course." She bit her lip too. She was so beautiful. Her big brown eyes melted me from the inside out.
"Well since we are dating now," I paused and smiled. I was so happy. "Would you do me the honor of going on a date with me?" I rubbed my neck again.
"Yes. I would be delighted."
i walk over and kiss her cheek. She grabs my hand and looks into my eyes. We look into eachothers souls. Then her phone rings. She looks at it hesitantly and sighs.
"Its my mom..."
i give her a thumbs up and she picks up the phone. I sit down and hold her hand.
*Annas point of view*
"Hello?"
"Anna where the hell are you?"
"Like you care..."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean!"
"Mom i came home last night! There was a man on our couch! You were passed out on the floor! I dont feel safe there with these strange guys all the time!"
i yelled at her. What i heard next surprised me.
"Anna, i want you out. Out of my house, out of my life."
"Mom! im 17 how am i gonna live on my own!" im crying now. "Who do i live with, dads in the military!"
"Figure it out anna. you act like you know everything anyways."
my mom hung up. I throw my phone and bust out in tears. Cameron stands up and hugs me.
"What did she say?" he asks concerned.
"She told me to leave... Her house, Her life. I have no where to stay." my head falls in my hands. "What am i gonna do?" i cry out.
"You know, you can stay here anna. My mom is almost never here. It is really lonely. I dont think she would mind."
"thanks cameron, I feel so bad. Ive caused you so much trouble and...(cut off by cameron)
"NO stop. You didnt do anything. Trust me. it will all be ok"
he wipes my tears and kisses my head while hugging me at the same time.
"Its ok, I will keep you safe"
*camerons point of view*
wow. What a messed up parent. I feel so bad for her. First a broken leg, now her mom kicked her out. Her dad is in freaking Afghanistan. She has no where. I am debating telling her something. Telling her about the summer. I dont want to risk anything. I will hold off on telling her.
"Well lets call my mom." i say.
i pick up my phone and call my mom.
"Hey mom i have an emergencey..."
"Uh Oh, what is it"
"Well... i have this friend and her mom kinda kicked her out and she really needs a place to stay."
"She, huh?'
"Well yeah... but im serious she needs somewhere to stay mom. Her dad is in the military, and her mom is well... i shouldnt say that. Lets just say its not a stable enviroment there anyways."
"Look cam, I feel that with me being gone you would have her stay anyways. So i will say yes for now. Once i get home we will talk about it."
i look over to see anna having a nervous expression on her face.
"Thanks mom. I wont let you down. I promise."
i hang up the phone after saying goodbye.
Anna looks relived.
"Welp, you are gonna need some stuff. Should we go to your house?"
"Yeah that would be good."
we get in my truck and drive to her house. She gets out and i help her limp to the door. She turns the handle and it is locked. She digs through her purse to find her keys. When she puts the key in it doesnt work. She sighs. Then she picks up a rock and throws it through the front window. Her face looks shocked. She drops in tears. I pick her up and wipe them away. Her face straightens up a bit.
"Lets get the fuck out of here." She says strongly.
I listen to her command and help her in the truck and drive away as fast as i can. Once i get home we sit in the driveway.
"What are we gonna do?" i ask her concerned.
"Were gonna break in and get my shit, We will go when she passes out with ANOTHER random dude tonight."
"Ok, how can i help?"
