Why was I nervous? Why was I scared to hear her voice?
*drrrr* *drrrr*
The old phone rang as I waited for the other line to answer. I felt like a was sweating through my shirt.
And as it was at the third ring, i heard the line open.
"Hello?"
The familiar voice rang through my ears.
Her voice.
"Hellooo?"
Words wouldn't come out as I felt tears run down my face. The memories of our last meeting came to mind....
"Weird..." I heard her say softly before I heard the phone line close.
*rrrrrrrrr*
My weak hand closing the phone. I sat back at the couch and looked out the window.
I let my cigarette slightly slant from my fingers as I rested my head in my other hand while leaning forward towards the table.
"Maybe someday...."
"I'll go see you."
