The two men pull me away from the masked people and keep a solid grip on my arm. I feel too woozy to fight back but I must. I have to.

"Who are you," I ask feeling their heir of authority grow. There are others in masks. They part like the red seas for the two men holding me captive. They must be their leaders. I feel myself start to panic.

"My name is Agent Tyler. This is my partner Agent Mercury," the shorter one says. Something in his smile gives way to something less than professional.

"You're both named Agent? What a strange world," I murmured to myself. Sure names would come and go but no two people would be named 'Agent'. That seemed silly even for humans.

I look up to the taller man and see that his jaw is set in determination. So strange for a man of such delicate features. They would've been royalty based on my last visit. Others acted like they were the knights of the king. The older one let out a chuckle and looked down at me.

"Oh, sweetheart you must've hit your head real hard," he mused giving a light grin.

"Don't patronize me," I growled looking up at him.

They stopped walking when they got back to the room from whence I'd came. The chords were covered in blood but it didn't look good like mine should. "Curious," I mumbled going back and examining the chords.

"Mind telling us how you got out of those. You were supposed to be pretty intensely concussed with three broken ribs and a fractured trachea. As we can clearly see the ribs and the throat seem to be fine," the taller one said.

I rolled my eyes and looked back to the machine. "My mind is fine as well. Just not quiet up to par with your vast improvements with technology," I say softly studying the tubes and wiring of the stand.

"This thing is supposed to keep me alive? Strange. You all used to rely on faith," I say even softer as I continue to speak.

The shorter one quirks an eyebrow at me as they sit down at the two chairs that were conveniently placed facing the bed.

"You shouldn't have been able to come off of it. Can you tell us who you are," the taller one asks. His brows are furrowed creating a light crinkle between them.

"I feel as though I should be asking you," I reply turning to face the two. The shorter one looks unnerved by the question. This wasn't normal or didn't seem to be for them. His lips are pursed slightly and his eyes are squinting in concentration. He's sizing me up.

"I'm Sam Mercury. This is Dean Tyler," he gestures to himself then the man sitting next to him. "We're federal Agents, ma'am," he says pulling out a leather pouch from inside his coat. He shows me a piece of paper with his information on it. I squint to get all of the details. It's been forever since I've read English.

"It's a piece of paper," I say squinting up at him. "I'm pretty sure if you wanted to give me the information you could've done so orally."

The other one lets out a half snort and cocks his head back slightly. The taller one glares over at him and pulls his mouth into a thin line. "What that was funny," the other one says gesturing towards me and my crossed arms. "Oh c'mon dude she's obviously crazy," he said looking at him defensively.

"I'll have you know I'm not crazy- just out of my element so to speak," I say quipping an eyebrow at the two. The exchange was something that wouldn't normally pass between people who worked together. At least not in my time. Normally no one cared for the people they worked with as long as the work got done. There was something more like kinship between their actions.

"You're brothers," I say pointing between the two and going back to the strange bed. The two of them look up in unison with the surprised almost half-intrigued looks on their faces.
