Chapter 8

(Picture the Forest)

Avyanna's POV*

From no where Derrick got to his full size and grabbed me with his dragon feet and flied us to the sky as fast as lightning into the clouds.

When we were flying up I noticed 12 people were where I use to be and one of them was Cain. I looked at Derrick. Derrick just looked at me then he kept flying straight.

I hope Ma and Pa are okay.

Cain's POV*

We tracked her down and it was a great opportunity because she was alone but I didn't count on that the soon to be Dragon King was going to get in our way.

My phone started to ring.

"Hello?'

"Did you got her?"

"Not yet,.... there is a new obstacle in my way."

"What ever that obstacle is I don't care just bring Avyanna to us as soon as possible."

"We wi..." They hanged up.

Just great I just have to change my plans.

Je vais vous voir bientôt mon bien-aimé Anna.

(I will see you soon my beloved Anna.)

Derrick's POV*

I was so confused as to why the guy I saw Anna talking to was where we use to be.

Anna didn't even looked like she was worry about seeing those people but I felt danger when I sense them and that danger wasn't for me but for Anna.

For now I was going to take Anna to my castle. Where she will be safe.

Avyanna's POV*

Its been 10 minutes at the same speed and it was hard to breath at times. I guess Derrick noticed that because while flying he grabbed me with his giant dragon hands and made me face his chest.

When he did that I felt tingles everywhere and he did too because I saw him shiver.

After another 20 minutes Derrick seems to be slowing down. That's when I noticed that the atmosphere felt weird.

When Derick landed and let me down I look back and I saw a forest that in my opinion no one in their right state of mind should go in. It looks like a forest from the creepy pasta stories.

"We need to go through there to get to the castle." Stated Derrick.

"What castle?"

"The one you will be living for a while." Derrick said while grabbing a hold off me and he started to walk.

I stop on my tracks. "I'm sorry Rick but I need to go and I cannot stay here."

Derrick seem to get mad with that statement. "You need to go with me to the castle its for your own safety."

I look at Derrick determine. "I need to go with my parents and I can take care of my self, I have always have." With that statement I use the air around me to lift me up to the sky pass the clouds and I started to go towards the hotel.

I will be there soon Ma and Pa.
