Hi people who picked this book feel free to judge or add suggestions, I'll try to make the suggestions come true. This is my first book so I kind of lack experience. Please add constructive criticism as well.

   Hana's POV

Beep,Beep,Beep!  I hate that stupid alarm. My hand slammed the snooze button with my head still on my emoji pillow still half asleep. "Hana,Hana! Wake up you're going to be late for your first day back to school." My eyes opened to find my purple espurr,Sweetie, talking to me. Omg back to school,Gin is waiting for me outside. I quickly got ready and ran outside, "Hi Gin".

 Elementary, first grade

 Gin's POV

She was crying again it was kind of annoying. "Are you ok?" I said trying to be kind, to my surprise there was a large bruise on her knee as she turned to face me. "Who did this to you!" I said feeling sympathetic towards her, but her cheeks turned a bright pink like she didn't want to talk about it. So I took her hand and walked with her to the health room. "I'm Gin what's your name?" There was a quiet silence as if she were deciding to trust me or not, "Hana, that's my name."

After that day I never did talk to Hana, until one day during recess a class was gathered around in a circle pointing and laughing at something in the middle I decided to check it out when it was actually Hana they were laughing at. I was pretty popular in elementary. So when I shouted to the kids that what they were doing was stupid and mean they must've felt some guilt because they never picked on Hana anymore. Instead they picked on me.

Hana's POV

They were all still laughing, it became a routine between us, me the show and them the audience who came to see a comedy. I felt hopeless until I heard Gin shout for them to stop. They did...well for me. They started picking on Gin and I hated seeing him get pushed around like I did, so I stood up for him. "Ha! Look at that. Gin and Hana sitting in the tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G" they all sang and taunted. "All of this happened because you stood up for me sorry it's my fault" I think Gin noticed the sadness in my voice because he hugged me and said "Don't ever be sorry  because your my best friend it's what we're supposed to do, have each other's back." Just by saying that I felt a lot better and it did stay true,me and Gin were best friends and we always had each other's back.
