"Leader-san!" a brunette girl smiled warmly at the blond boy. Although she hated to admit it, she was actually quite attracted to the young lad.
The most unique and noticeable feature about the lad was his golden blonde hair. It reached past his knees, tied into a blue ponytail—which could be compared to his eyes. His orbs were a deep shade of blue, and yet, you could get lost gazing at them. His beautiful tan skin and muscular build only added to his attractiveness.
"Yes, Iyuri-san?" he spoke in his usual, silky, and smooth voice. "Kindly refrain from calling me that. I don't need formalities."
"But you do that to me! Lea—" Honozu Iyuri stopped short, meeting the glare from her comrade. "Ehehe, Naruto. . ." Stop scaring me!
The young lad, barely eighteen years old, smiled at the Honozu heiress. Despite being a skilled shinobi (he was ranked as a SSS-Rank in the bingo book), he still had a heart of gold, like he was in his old village. However, his personality changed, like the world turned upside down. Cold and sadistic as he seems, he also has a knack for playing one game he always won: shogi.
"Naru-chin!" another voice yelled. Iyuri's younger brother, Honozu Kuro, appeared at the scene, and tried to hug him. Keyword: tried.
Naruto used the Fourth Hokage's famous jutsu, Hiraishin, and teleported in front of the unfinished painting he was doing. Kuro, on the other hand, face-planted on the marble floor, earning a hearty laugh from Iyuri.
"Nii-san! Not fair!" Kuro whined, his black locks massy and tangled. "Why can't I hug you?" he drawled the last syllable out.
"Because you can't." Naruto answered, not even bothering to look at those emerald eyes of the boy's. The owner of the said eyes sighed, knowing that was the best reply he could get.
"I want to play!" Kuro turned to Iyuri. "Please?" he asked, using his infamous puppy dog eyes which made his older sister unwillingly agree with a grunt.
Naruto had a ghost of a smile fixated on his face, as he finished the painting. In the middle of the canvas, a yin and yang symbol was seen. At the bottom, the words 'Silver Darkness' were written in seemingly perfect calligraphy. After it a rather long sentence was noticed.
'No matter how dark a person's heart is, it will always have a sliver of light in it. And it could also be otherwise.
–U. N. N.'"Wow, you're really a very, very, good philosopher, Naru! You should become one!" a voice praised.
"Shiro, do you want to end up ten feet underground? It can always be arranged." Naruto spoke coldly, making the blue-haired boy flinch involuntarily. "Have you not remembered what happened last time you have entered my room without permission?"
So cold. Shiro shivered. "Back to business," he said in a gravelly tone, earning a raised eyebrow. "The Allied Shinobi Forces, Orochimaru, and the Akatsuki offered a proposal."
"And what is that?" Naruto asked, showing the slightest bit of interest. Shiro barely managed to hide his smile. You showed some emotions! Yehey! he cheered
mentally."They want to make an alliance with you, in order to defeat the brewing darkness in the North."
