Chapter 2
I just can believe it. I mean I get that he don't won't me and all, but the fact that he made it seem so easy to say. For me it was like every word was a silver bullet to the heart in slow motion and the pain spreads though out my body.
But I on the airplane now. On my way to my grandmothers house in L.A. There is a pack around there and even though my grandmother is not a werewolf she knows about them and knows I'm one. I just had to get away from this place. Everyday I have to deal with that pain of being rejected. Unwanted. Unloved.
Ha not in this book cause I have a plan. But right now I'm not ready.
I'm still weak.
While I thought about my payback I start to have a little bit of trouble keeping my eyes open. Hey we have four hours to get there might as well sleep. So instead of fighting it I let the darkness engulf me.
A few hours later my sleep was interrupted my someone taping me on the shoulders.
" Ma'am please put your seat-belt on. We're about to land in 15 minutes." One of the flight attendance had said. "Um thanks." I say to her while I let a big yawn escape my lips, and stretching my arms.
About twenty minutes later I find my luggage and looked for the car that suppose to come and pick me up to take me to my grandma's house.
With no luck I decided to sit on the bench a few steps away from me for a few moments. Supringly it's really hard to find a car around this place. With a huff I got up and look around a little bit more then finally find a sweet looking old bold man holding up a sign that has my name in it.
I wonder if i can keep that sign? I mean it has my name on it.
I walk over to the him and he takes my bags then escorts me to the car.
"Hello, im Unity. Whats your name." I asked in a polite manner.
"Good evening Unity, my name is Carl."
"Well Carl, lead the way."
******Drake POV 😁 ( BROTHER) ******
Man where can that little freak be. After she ran off me, Danny and a couple of other friends went to get some food to eat, and check out that new Possession movie. After the movie they wanted to go to a small club but I got kind of sleepy and told them I was going back to the pack house. They were kind of surprised by this because I'm an all-niter. But I just wasn't feeling it tonight.
When I get there I started looking for my stupid sister. I check every where, her room ,the kitchen, all the game rooms. I was about ask some of the ladies that all look as if they were in deep conversation. I cleared my throat and all of there attention was on me. I asked very kindly if they had seen my sister . A sad look took over there eyes and I sat there waiting for one of them to replay.
A small lady with red hair finally spoke up. " Well honey she might just be getting off the plane in L.A."
OK i wasn't expecting that . I know she would snap some time but not run away. This is all my fault. I just wanted her to be stronger." She wanted me to give you this letter , she made one for almost every one in the pack."
I take the letter from the woman and run to my room, then opened and read the letter.
Dear Drake,
I'm no longer here to get on your nerves any more. Yippee for you. But one thing I can't seem to figure out is that your suppose to be my brother, but you treat me like I'm your dog. No I Think you will treat the dog better then me. But all I did was love you. Your the only blood family I have left ( and grandma ) and yet you treat me like that. Like I was nothing.
I'm gone and I won't be back for a while. If I'm lucky maybe never. So good bye . And if you love me just a little you won't come after me.

My vision started to blur before the tears can escape and sliding down my face. I read over the letter so many times that the paper started to get wet from my tears. I pick up the phone and called Danny to let him know what happen.
" Was up man!" Danny's voice boomed from the other side. When I finally got myself together I spoke.
" Danny she's gone." I guess I didn't do a good job, because I had to choke back a sob that was building.
" Who's gone , are you OK? I'm on my way. ''
About fifteenth minute later I heard a knock at the door, then I see Danny's head pop in the door way. I must look as bad as I fell because he comes in and sits next to me on the floor. " Hey man what's wrong . You look like crap" Danny asks . " She's gone." I crock out. Danny look come confused ,"Who's gone? Did you fall in love within the hour and a half we were apart?" I look him in the eye ,"No dude, Unity she's gone, she left. She in L.A . "
For some reason Danny looks heart broken...but why. I look down then back up again and tears are strolling down his face. The curiosity got the best of me and I had to ask. " Why are you crying? We were so mean to her."
I was so shock when he told me and I still can't believe it.
"She's my mate."
