“Vic,” I said annoyed, “I don’t really care what you have to say, I don’t want to talk to you.” I said angrily before hanging up on my, I guess ex-boyfriend Vic Fuentes. The reason I was pissed at him was 1. There were cheating rumours, and whenever I brought them up, he just changed the subject by complimenting me.

2. He stood me up not once, not twice, but SIX god damn times in a row.

Now to be fair, Vic was under a lot of stress with the band just taking off and all, but it was getting ridiculous, it was obvious that he was over our relationship but didn’t want to break it off, so why don’t I make it easier for him.

I ran my hands through my jet black hair and then rubbed my sore blue eyes, probably rubbing my eye makeup all over my face, but I didn’t care, I was just so tired, I couldn’t sleep last night, Vic went out with some ‘New Friends’ last night, and he said he’d be home in 2 hours or so, he left at 10:30, he came back at 1:30 P.M. this afternoon, so being concerned for him, I tried to wait up, but having time to think just made me more enraged, so I decided to break it off.

I walked up the stairs of the medium sized apartment that Vic and I shared to our bedroom and laid down on the bed, I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow.

My eyes fluttered open, and I was shocked at what I saw, I saw Vic and some blonde fake looking bimbo making out at the foot of the bed, I gasped and sat straight up, “Vic, what the hell are you doing?” I yelled angrily and in shock.

He looked at me briefly and rolled his eyes, pushing away the woman, “Look, I don’t know why you think you have the right to yell at me, but you do not!” He yelled slurring heavily, obviously pissed out of his mind.

I shook my head, letting a tear fall, “You know what? I knew it! I knew you never loved me,” I paused, picking up the shotgun that was apparently in my hand, “So, now, you and your hooker are gonna pay for it.”

I held the gun out from my body and released the safety trigger, pointing at the blonde female, and shooting her, without thinking, once in the leg, the other just missing her heart. I then pointed it at Vic, he gasped and then laughed, “do it,” he said calmly, “DO IT!” he yelled with rage.

His words angered me, so I obeyed, I shot him, once in the leg, once in his crotch, he looked up at me and release a scream, “You little-” he stopped, I was shaking from side to side violently, “Maria, Maria, Maria!” He said desperately.

I shook my head and squeezed my eyes shut, when I opened them, I saw Vic, unharmed, standing over the bed, shaking me, looking concerned, “Maria? What’s wrong?” he said leaning in towards me.

I laughed a little, “Sorry, I just, had the weirdest dream,” I snapped out of my small daze, “Vic! Vic oh my god, you’re okay! I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean what I said!!” I said in a rushed voice.

He smiled, “I didn’t mean to worry you, or hurt you, I was just really stressed, and I guess I let our relationship slip for it, I’m really sorry Maria, can you forgive me?”

I cleared the space between us and kissed him, “does that answer your question?” I said smiling from ear-to-ear.

He laughed, it was a truly joyful sound, full of true happiness and love, “Thank you, so much Maria, you have no idea how much you mean to me,” He said looking into my eyes, “here, how about I make it up to you, we’ll go to that fancy italian place on 39th street tonight, alright?” He said smiling sweetly.

I smiled back, “That sounds wonderful Vic,” I paused, “not to ruin the moment, but about the cheating rumours-” I started, Vic cut me off.

He smiled, “Darling, I promise, I haven’t even been able to think about another girl, let alone have sex with one, I’ve been super busy.” He said smiling at me.

I smiled back, “Alright, I’ll get ready then, thank you baby.” I said sweetly.

He laughed, “Jeez Maria, you’re so wonderful, you know that, right?”

I laughed, “thank you sweetheart, but not anything in your comparison.”

I got ready by doing my makeup and then my hair, then taking the time to pick out an awesome outfit (Outfit link here: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=112801764 )

I walked downstairs at about 5:30, all ready to go, and saw Vic in a white dress shirt with a black tie, black skinny jeans, and sneakers, his hair was done the way it always is, and may I say, he looked wonderful.

He looked up from his phone and smiled, “Maria darling, you look gorgeous!” he said eyeing me over, “Sorry about that, I just asked Jaime to make us reservations and to make sure they have everything, under control.” He said smiling and stepping towards me and taking my arm, “Shall we m’lady?” He said in a fake southern accent.

I laughed and nodded, “We shall m’love” I said mimicking his tone.

The car ride was silent except for the radio turned on my favourite station. When we arrived at the restaurant and Vic found a spot, he got out and ran to open my door and help me out, I smiled, “well thank you kind sir.” I said with a giggle.

He laughed, “You’re very welcome.” He said leading me towards the doors.

When we got in the restaurant Vic gave the lady his name and we were seated in a secluded section at the back, with a single table for two, with two plates and a single red rose and a candle in the middle. I gasped, did he do this, for me? He lead me towards the table and quickly pulled out a chair, helping me in and pushing it in for me.

He made small talk for a bit, seeming nervous and awkward, but I brushed it off. The waitress came back in with 2 plates of food, she set down in front of me an order of the truffle creme ravioli, and the same for Vic. He thanked her and dug into his food. About half way through he asked me how I was liking it, and I said it was wonderful. The dinner was coming to an end and i was confused, why was Vic acting so weird? Was he really telling the truth when he apologized?

The answer to my question came in the form of question. Vic stood up and walked beside me, he kneeled on one knee and pulled a small box from his back pocket, he opened it (pic of ring in outfit link) it was beautiful. He opened his mouth to speak, “Maria,” He started, “I know I’m a total idiot sometimes, I mess up, I make bad decisions, I stand you up, I stay out half the night worrying you, and yet you stayed by my side, i need someone to spend the rest of my life with someone that’s not going to freak out when I mess up, because it happens a lot. Maria, you’re the perfect girl, not only for me, but you’re also the greatest girl in the world. Maria Elisabeth Smith, will you be my wife?”

Tears filled up my eyes and I nodded, “yes, Yes I will!” I said smiling and leaning in to kiss him.

He pulled away to laugh, “I was hoping you’d say that.”
