All Things Bad

I woke up with a raging headache and tequila breath...
Ewwwe... I immediately felt the urge to puke and rushed into my bathroom,after emptying the contents in my stomach I decided to brush my teeth to get rid of the taste of my vomit.
While taking a shower last nights events came rushing back
to me... From my parents dropping the bomb on me that they
were getting a divorce to my boyfriend Toby cheating on me.
As if me remembering wasn't enough I started crying,FML.

After getting dressed, I then proceeded to tame my curly hair by
A putting it in a bun,while fixing my edges my iPhone gold
began buzzing, Toby's name flashed against the screen and
I was quick to hit ignore. I couldn't fanthom why he was
calling me. Realizing I didn't have enough time I rushed out
of the house not wanting to face my parents.

Since my parents refused to buy me a car I was left to get a ride from my friend Kayla who lived next door. I knocked on the door and it didn't take very long for Mrs .Johnson to answer.
Diane,as I'd been told to call her stood in her black pencil
skirt and matching blouse with her black pumps on.
"Morning Ms .Johnson." I spoke cheerfully
She looked at me with stern eyes "Now what did I tell you?"
"That I'm like family, so call you Diane."
"Good,come in,"she stepped aside to let me in

"Is Kayla ready  yet?"
"Now Nyla you know that girl."she proceeded to go into the kitchen as I followed.
"How are your folks?" she questioned
"Not so good,Mam"I sat at the island and frowned
"Awe sweetie, what happened?" I broke down telling her everything Toby included...
"You poor child, I've never seen a stronger couple they'll get through it . You avoiding them doesn't make it easier,think about it their planning on separating, while possibly hurting, and
you their only child isn't making it better. Just try seeing it
their way,I'm not saying you shouldn't hurt,just consider their
feelings...Now enough of this sad talk go get Kayla so you can
go to school"
