POOF! "Aww, Come on!!" I exclaimed.

'Another failed spell.' I thought.

"You can do it." said Eragon, my father.

'Yeah, yeah, yeah.' I thought, 'When will I ever please you father?'

"You can go Lotha." My Dad said.

"Yes, father." I said.

'At Least I can go into the air with my Dragon Dwerva and practice flying!' I thought gleefully.

'Dwerva!' I exclaimed with my mind.

'Coming Lotha.' replied Dwerva. Immediately I saw a black speck coming out of the Du Weldenvarden. After a minute that black speck turned into a Dragon then landed on the ground.

"There you are Dwerva." I said.

'Was I supposed to hurry?' He thought in his sassy kind of way.

"Just take off." I said, chuckling. As he rose above the Du Weldenvarden, I saw the true beauty of the forest. The mountains, Fionula, Griminsmal, and Merogoven rising silently in the distance like daggers against the summer evening. The insects chirping in the trees it made me feel calm, like nothing could hurt me. We rode for what seemed like hours until the sun started to sink below the trees and we landed.

'I presume that I will get a good dinner for all that flying.' Presumed Dwerva.

"When do you ever not get a good dinner?" I asked.

'Never.'

"Exactly." As we walked into the Great Hall for dinner we found that they had already started eating and there was a strange package on the table.
