The magical square in the woods was something that could kill anything that comes near it. People try to use its power to rule the world but have never been successful. It could power a hole city if you could harness it's power. And who knows maybe it could even be use for magical reasons. It can be contained with very rare martials. But people have not gathered everything they need to contain it.
