We arrived at the police station, everyone was staring me as the two cops held my arms. They took me to a small dark room, where there was only only a table and two chairs opposite each other. The police guys left. Five minutes later there came a tall young lady with long dark hair (she looked Spanish.) She came towards me and kept this conversation on a low know. She first asked me what my name was, I had no idea what to say then she asked my age and I told he I am 17-19. "WHAT!? Sweetheart you mean you don't know your age? I BET YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW YOUR OWN NAME. She said. I told her what happened from the part where I woke up under a bridge until how I got myself in trouble and got to a police station.
She cried and gave me a weird hug ''Oh my poor child, I can't imagine what would have happened to you if you were not brought here. Come let's go home you must be exhausted!''
''WAIT WHAT?, I don't know you lady, where are you taking me to?'' I asked in an aggressive voice. She replied ''What?" she stood up in anger and shock. "Yes I am Rosie Van Bruik and you're Shaylee right, right Shaylee Van Bruik I am your mother since you cannot remember anything why would you agrue." I had so many questions to ask, but I did not know where to start. The case was even closed she did not bother asking me further questions about the McDonald's incident.
We drove to her place.
''Here you are this is home'' she says with an enthusiastic manner. We look around the house and immediately she shows me my so called favourite place of the house which was something I have never seen before in my entire life. The house was really big and black and red theme it was really beautiful and my supposed favourite spot was a small hanging chair in the corner of the living room. In fact she had a lot of gadgets and security cameras.
''Enough with the chit-chat let me take you to your room'' We went to my room which looked like it was never used in six years, the colour was light pink and that really looked more like an old lady's room. She left me to my room so I can settle in. Just when I was about to take the blanket off the bed I heard sounds of wood cracking. I rushed down the stairs to see if everything was ok, and found her removing every technological device (except the ones in the kitchen) I asked why she was removing everything, she refused to answer my question by keeping quite. She took all the electronics and hid them in a small room. I was a little bit scared, because she made sure I never have any contacts with anyone and no entertainment she took the TV. My doubts about her even became more.
I told her I am going to bed it has been a long day. Then I went to bed.
