Well that date was an absolute disaster! Go on a date Kat. Get out there Kat. Live a little! Ha Ha Kat's the only single one out of us lot! Great ego and confidence boost there guys thanks! The guy I had met up with tonight was so, so dull. There wasn't much of a conversation, just awkwardly sat together and eating in silence until about ten minutes ago when he just went mental and exploded on me. I haven't got a single clue on what I had done but in the whole, I think he blamed me for making this night so boring. I wouldn't have dressed up nice, in a dress and heels and the whole hair and make up if I were to only make the night horrid.
So here I was walking pathetically to my car, in the pouring rain without a jacket. I kinda liked the smell of rain, if rain has a smell that is, it just makes everything seem fresh and new. Anyways my heels in my hand ready to get home and eat a gallon of ice cream and listen to Jim play the protective and smart older brother like he always does after I've come home from a bad date. Just as I get to my car, my phone rings. I unlock my car door and open it, quickly getting inside to get out of the rain. I grab my phone out of my clutch and look at the number.
Speaking of Jim...
"Hey Jamesy," I greet my brother as I answer the call.
"Hey Kitty Kat! How was the date?" His voice flows through the speakers of my iPhone.
"Not good Jim. Not good at all," I respond in a gloomy, frustrated tone. Silence is all I hear for a moment before I hear him sigh from his side of the line.
"Come over on your way home and we can have a talk. Tan is making up some tea for you," Jim suggests.
"Alright, be there soon. Tell Tan thanks for me," I respond.
"Will do. See you in a bit," Jim says before we both end the call. I set my phone down on the passenger seat and put my car key in the ignition, starting the car. I put the gear shift into drive and drive off toward Jim and Tanya's house. I sat outside Jim and Tan's house for a few moment before jumping out and sprinting barefoot to the front door and knocked. Yes I forgot the key and I couldn't be bothered to rummage around in the garden for the spare key. I heard a click and Jim was standing there looking cozy as anything as I was standing in the rain with my hair in ropes around my neck and shoulders and my dress sticking to my body making me uncomfortable. "Don't stand there!" He chuckled at me as I quickly rushed in and shouted a hello to Tanya and went upstairs for a shower and slip some of Jim's clothes on.
"So what happened?" Tanya asked as she handed me a mug of hot tea and some food as she took a seat next to my brother and cuddled into his side.
"Nothing...He just..it was awkward okay? We barely spoke and when we did it was awkward as heck and then it fell to silence. By the end he just ended up yelling at me and making a scene. Was so embarrassing, I just put some money down and left." I sighed out into my mug and took a sip of the burning liquid.
"He sounds..." I shot Jim look as I reached for my food and he just smiled at me with an amused look in his eye.
"Well that was just one bad date..." Tanya tried to make the situation sound a lot better then what it actually was.
"Just add that one to the list! I've been on like how many dates? Five? Six? They've all failed." I huffed and started chewing on some vegetables.
"Kat honestly...finding the right guy for you takes time. You have to go on dates to find out. Besides...the right guy may just be standing right in front of you and you just haven't realized yet." She smiled and I saw Jim stiffen a little and shot Tanya a weird look as I swallowed the food I had shoved into my mouth.
"I'm not dating Conor." I tell them flat out making them laugh. After my talk with Jim and Tan, we sit around catching up on our friends YouTube videos for a few hours before I head home and jump into bed.
The next morning, I wake up in my own bed dry and clean. I reach over to my bedside table for my phone, where I left it sitting as it was charging overnight and unplug it from the charger. I notice that its nine in the morning and that I had a few text messages from friends and family. I type in my lock code and pull up my text messages.

I smile at my brothers messages as I quickly type a reply and press send.

I look through my other messages from my best friend Conor and my mum, responding to them as well.

I then throw the covers off of myself and jump out of bed. I set my phone into my dock and tag the play button, letting my music playlist blast through the speakers and fill my flat. I rummage through my closet to find an outfit that is casual but still me. I pull out my liquid leggings, a black crop top, a white tank top that I tied off to make into a crop top, and my red flannel. I put the outfit on and check myself out in the mirror.

I like it so I rummage through my shoe collection for my black combat boots and slip them on. I head over to my vanity where all my makeup is stored for my beauty tutorial videos. I do a full face with simple eye makeup, only doing a slight cat eye and mascara. I apply a dark red matte lipstick to my lips before moving on to my hair. I brush through my bed-head hair so its now detangled and leave it as is since my hair is naturally wavy. I give myself a once over before nodding at my masterpiece. I grab my black and red plaid backpack and load it with my vlogging equipment as well as my phone charger and laptop. I grab my phone and car keys then head out. I drive to the Starbucks by my flat and order an iced caramel macchiato and a few chocolate croissants to-go then head to my friend and fellow YouTuber, Joe Sugg's house.
