Stars are so beautiful and mesmerising to watch from afar using telescopes. They twinkle & sparkle and light up our night sky. With such a mighty distance between the observer and the star, you can only see the beauty it beholds.
However, are we forgetting that our beloved Sun is also a star? Why can't we look at it for a prolonged amount of time without our eyes hurting?
Distance plays an important role in this; the further away it is, the more beautiful it appears
but if you were to stare at your favourite star they way you usually do if it were as near to us as our Sun, our eyes would burn away.---
So that's what she meant when she said "Don't get too close to me."That's why.
