I sit there not hanging up yet...and look at my phone screen to see he hasn't either

The next morning I get ready I go to my closet and pick out my out-fit.
some light wash ripped shorts with a black crop top and a cute flannel to put around my waist. I do my make up and walk to my room and grab my bag with my wallet and walk out to the living room and then and next to my door and grab my white hightop converse I slip them on and walk out to my car and get in.
I pull up to Ethan's house and pull up in the driveway and see Ethan standing in his living room through the windows of his house, sitting there I go pull out my phone from my bag beside me to text Ethan.
But as I am scrabbling through my bag I get distracted by the sound of yelling I look up and see Ethan and his parents fighting, I see Ethan's dad throw his hand up yelling and Ethan doing the same back then Ethan turned around and grabbed a bag off his coffee table and his dad yell back some more and Ethan opens the door to walk around turning around to his dad again he turns back yelling "THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT DAD!!"
Ethan slams the door and walks out towards my car he gets in the front passenger's seat and sits down
"....Ethan are you okay..?"
He just looks forward out the front of the car not looking at me
"I don't really know...family problems are hard.."
I just nod my head and pull out of the driveway and start to drive in silence.
